I dunked a bitch's head in a bucket of ice water one time when she was OD-ing on Xanax. Worked great, but there was a LOT of paperwork afterward.

Nope. Made by a different company. I was always made clear that it was "New Vegas" and not Fallout 4.0122358 wrote:wouldnt NV be considered Fallout 4?

That's legit bethesda stuff from what I understand.
Was supposed to be an announce trailer but beyond that I have no clue.

Well "Fall 2012" is only a few months away and this is the first video I have seen of it. Also Im sure that its still in preproduction but the graphics look like a step backwards from new vegas.

As I understand it , both of those trailers are bogus and fan produced .

Re: Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Fallout 3 and NV have me waiting on the edge of my chair for fallout 4.
I wish some Modder would redo the first games in 1St person so I can know the mythology of the series.
or even a few books would do the job.
The Stalker series is the other one that I love.to bad it's all but dead.
Fallout out 4 with the sky rim engine could be out soon.it not as if they have to start from scratch.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Between all the various DLCs and such CONUS has pretty much been done to death within the Fallout Universe.
They need to internationalize the franchise a bit, switch it up.
If I were the producer?
Id like to see the franchise get back to 'vault dweller'.
I would start the player at a secret 'Vault' under the Louvre in Paris, maybe behind a secret door behind the Mona Lisa or something.
I would expand the game eastward toward China and cherry pick a lot of that good China fiction making sure to include the Great Wall and maybe the Ziggurat of Ur in Iraq.
DLCs would be: Russia/Moscow, Isle of Britain and Ireland, then Egypt/Valley of Kings/Cairo.
I would also make efforts to have the GECK work for XBox mods and sharing.

why not in Canada ? there is no reason to nuke them, and survival is just a daily task in the north.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
IMO Fallout needs to stick to West Coast-ish CONUS, the tries at other places have been train wrecks (Except Fallout 3 which was only slightly horrible) the lore is well established and I'd rather see them build on the previous games then add more.

That. There were 3 games on the West Coast before it, and New Vegas still felt brand new. Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Arizona... all rife with possibility. I'd love to go back to The Hub, or Klamath.Sckitzo wrote:IMO Fallout needs to stick to West Coast-ish CONUS, the tries at other places have been train wrecks (Except Fallout 3 which was only slightly horrible) the lore is well established and I'd rather see them build on the previous games then add more.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Fallout takes place in a 50s/60s-SciFi-post-apoc-red-scare-retrofuture world. That's a great piece of writing right there. Americana has a huge part in it. There can not be a genuine Fallout game outside the US.

Off the internet until further notice.
Re: Re: Short list of several zombie related books
I don't know. The foolishness of the 50's was world wide, I think it would be fantastic to see that world from a Russian or Chinese point of view. Our even better a European multi culture point of view a tour of paranoia and nationalism at its best.
Much like twilight 2000 was..
But honestly I don't care as long as they keep bringing up more fallout.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
They would have to rework the entire style I'd imagine. It's divergent story lines in the 50's, hence the culture stayed the same but tech went a lot faster since they never left a war footing.
Not to mention they would need to think up all new groups, there would be no Brotherhood of Steel, no NCR, no Legion and no Vaults. At least none of the Vault-Tec ones (unless they were hidden like someone mentioned).
