Yeah. Here is what is needed to now clear a building:

Kill the 'door blocker' zed. Odds are with an axe or pistol. 20ap
Remove body. 1ap
close door. 1ap
repair building. 1-27 (the highest I have seen) ap. This appears to be going up 1ap every 24 hours the building goes unrepaired.
cade it to a minimal level. 20ap atleast if not more.

Now, you can maybe search for shit you need.

If you got a good team, it can be done. Solo = you are now a zed 90%

Yeah, the game has changed a bit. I just reactivated my character and am making my way to Pole Mall. Where are all the survivors nowadays?

Well in case anyone is still alive(ish?), I'm in Tapton, at the Swithun Hospital [43.72]. Currently zombified, I am enjoying some tasty soylent green.

If you're still active, why don't you join the DHPD? We're currently in the process of regrouping after an operation at Ackland -- another living body would be greatly appreciated. If interested, stop by the boards at dhpd.tk and introduce yourself as a ZSer.

I was in DHPD a while ago, but don't really feel like checking a whole 'nother set of forums =P. I started two other characters so now I'm just alternating shooting zeds and eating people...

Wonderful. Seems like this game went to the toilet.

Logged in to see if my char was still there. Turns out to still be hibernating after a revive somewhere on the west side of town. Left it dormant for the time being.

update!

caiger has been retaken, and is in good hands. there was a zombie armor update, and the northern west becktown area is doing well. there are still a lot of Dead members in Dunell Hills, but their number has decreased a lot from their peak.

note: you don't have to close the door, just start barricading. usually you can drag furniture and such past a lone zombie pretty easily.

Ford- I saw that. Thanks. :)

Ok, I made some characters for this game a long time ago. Can't remember the log in so I made a new one.

I decides to be a civilian consumer...and for my starting weapon I get...

a FENCING FOIL.... :?

I mean...WTF? Could you start out with a worse weapon to use against zeds? I couldn't find a nice hefty stick or something...

Sucky...

I havent played this game in forever (long story). I cant believe ZS is still plugging away in it. I checked the updates page and it seems that the game is slipping more and more away from survivors :(
If you cant run, you walk, if you cant walk you crawl, if you cant crawl pray the zombies dont find you.

Just signed up for this game as Chase Knepper, in Brooksville.

Started in a building with 1 dead body and 2 zombies. First thing I do:
You fire your pistol at the zombie for 5 damage. They die.

Are there enough zs'ers we could take and keep our own building? I am just a level 2, but I hate bouncing all over the place trying to find a safe place to sleep.

I've been playing for a while, part of a group that keeps Greentown (mostly) green. Head over to us, and you've got a decent chance of properly barricaded buildings and defense against the dead. I just joined ZS though, so I don't think/know I've run into any ZS folk in the game yet.

I still play when I remember, which lately isn't often. If you run into Trucker Tina, that's me. I will usually not chomp into ZS folks when I'm zombified, but everyone else is fair game. :P
