Yep, After this last update, I had to go back in an reset all my vehicle loadouts and cammos. And all my soldier weapons reverted to the starting weapon for each class, but each weapon kept its accesories. and each soldier class kept everything else the same [except for the weapon] it seems. If you have PS3 and do the update you should check that your loadouts are correct.

Ugh, I hated that for the longest time. It kept me out of vehicles for a few months back on the 360 when the vehicle kits would reset. Between. Every. Match.

I'm shopping for a tablet to play Battlescreen/Commander mode at work in the down times. Also porn. Anyone do the tablet thing?

I'd say I had about 10 golds show up at my last level up. I've never been impressed with anything I've unlocked though.

I checked last night, got 7 Golds. Useless items, some 50% rewards.

Walmart.com had a sale on a 10.1 inch RCA tablet for $89.99 the other day. click on the 'one day sales' and see if its still available. I bought one, its nice. regularly 150 I think.

I just reset my loadouts using Battlelog, its faster/easier than doing it on the console. Also on the console i've found that if you just hit the back button and not the save then you lose what you set up, did that a few times before i figured it out.

BTW, I haven't even played a game since I got and opened all those battlepacks, and today I looked and I have another unopened Gold.

edit: I got the MARPAT cammo. its a 'superior' item. :)

I use variations of the adaptive camo for everything. Adjusts to the environment for me!

Deleted the BF4 data, reinstalled game, now I get an error message when updating it to the current version. Bout to say fuck this.

Go on Battlelog forums and see if there is some more advice there about reinstalling the game, I've never done that before. I only had China Rising DLC and it seems OK except for what I mentioned before. IDK why your PS3 got messed up like that.

Can you play the basic maps? If not, you may have to buy a new login code for ten bucks. Deleting may make their server think it's like if you bought the game 'used' and the code is already used too, maybe.

For consol players (PS3/360) your frames per second (FPS) is locked at 30. For newest gen the games are locked at 60 FPS.

For PC users, unless we lock our FPS, it's wild. Depending on how many explosions are on screen, I can get anywhere between 50 to 85 FPS. And a "frame drop" is when you walking along at ~80 FPS and suddenly your FPS drops to mid-40's inexplicably. It's a real pain because it drops you out of the game, mentally.

We'reWolf, have you tried uninstalling both the game and driver, restarting, then reinstalling?

Well the new gen doesn't sound like an improvement then.

Here's what I lost in either this update or the September one. I lost all my Campaign progression on the PS3, including scores, when I go to the console's scoreboard I'm in last place with 0points with all my friends ahead of me. But this is only on the console, scores and progression looks ok on Battlelog.

I don't play campaign that much, but by losing that progression I can't go back into an individual mission [if i wanted to] until after I run thru the entire thing and unlock all the missions. I also lost all my campaign weapons, not sure what that means in multi. BUT on the plus side??? if I go into the campaingn page on Battlelog it shows I now have unlocked all the Campaign dog tags, which I didn't have that before. But if I go into my dog tag page on Battlelog it only shows I have two.

Eh, with the new gen you're paying for (IMO): 40% marketing, 30% labor, 30% hardware. Even a $400 PC you put together yourself will outperform the newest generation of consoles.

Jesus Christ, this game is a mess.

Mines been better on pc actually... I'm loading super fast, usually the first or second on the map waiting at 'ready'. My load out did reset first day but I didn't lose anything. I like the new maps mostly.

Yeah, I think that the loading of graphics is improved on PS3. I didn't realize until you mentioned that. I'm not sure its faster, but I used to deploy into a new round and some quadrants of the maps weren't rendered yet. And it would take a while before all the sound effects came online. I haven't noticed that the maps weren't drawn in since the update. It still takes time for all the sound effects to come in. But 'waiting at ready' I still have invisible guys with visible guns or visible guys holding invisible guns sometimes too.

BTW, I made it. World ranked PS3 Fighter Jet Kills, #29. But not a solid 29 yet. Still #7 PS3 world ranked in in Air Superiority score.

I'm reading the Black Friday sales flyers this morning and I see that @ Walmart's 6pm today event they have BF4 on Sale for $20. CoDAW is $39. CoDG $25. And 'The Last of Us' is $20. Is this one any good?

The other day I was playing Conquest on Rogue Transmission, and I was on the hills overlooking 'C' [the area with the helipad] but I was looking back toward the hills next to the tower by 'A' because there were a couple of OPFOR snipers up there.

Now I was trying to rank up one of my DMRs so I only had iron sites on it. I'm plinking away at them, getting a small hitmarker every once in a while and avoiding the incoming rds when I noticed this interesting and beautiful glowing read light up in the sky off in the distance behind the hills the enemy snipers were on. I was mesmerized. What is that? I don't remember seeing it there before. It wasn't moving. So I'm just staring at it, then I hear this noise, kind of a wine, and I thought "what now, where's that coming from?" Then I think I saw the red glow move.

That's when I get killed. At the second I died I saw it, an SUAV. Those other snipers must've launched it at me. But it looked like it was in the distance behind them, and because it was coming in straight at me it appeared stationary in the sky. I didn't know they had a red light on them.

I finally unlocked the SUAV myself. I'll have to put it to work.

I've narrowly missed getting killed by the SUAV a couple times. It's fun when you survive, because you know the enemy is raging about it :vmad:

R_C_S sold me his Haupauge Rocket PVR to record some BF Moments and other PS3 gameplay, etc. And I just put up the first test video on youtube.

It's Air Superiority Jet Fighting of course, and I was just doing a test recording without the intent to actually catch something to upload, just to see if I hooked it up right. But it turned out I got one of those annoyingly funny nemesis streaks on a couple of guys. Can you count 'How many times I killed this guy?'.

I would have killed for a pair of those gloves. (In-game) literally.

Also, I saw that video you uploaded. I gotta ask, did you make a Google plus account, or a Youtube account? They are different.

I have both I think. I was doing it all at once. I know I have a Google+ and the Youtube account looks like its own thing but in Chrome my G+ menu bar is displayed. And when I go to log into youtube the Google + login page comes up. So they may be linked. IDK.

Why, what's the difference and how can I tell?

BTW Here's 17 jet kills in 7 minutes on Silk Road.

The difference:

So the area in the oval, does it say your channel name or the email name? You may need to disassociate your G+ account from your Youtube account (I did this awhile ago, may not be an option anymore). Get back to me with your findings.
