I just saw a clip of this game the other day. Is it any good on PC?

What I play 99% of my games on, I love it but might not be everyone's thing.

I am back to Battlefield 3.... Was playing a lot of MMOs but I really believe they are dying out thanks to the 600 pound gorilla in the room everyone wants to copy.

It is a PAW (not zombie) game for PS3, I don't actually have a PS3 but seriously considering it now.

http://thelastofus.com/

makes me want a PS3...

hey has anyone ever played RAGE?...how is it?

Worth the $5 I payed for it, barely.

It is a very good looking game, but even on high end systems had some major issues with texture popping. You can tell the game was also made by ID as it has that classic Doom style feel to it.

The racing aspect is fun, the mini games are OK. The combat is fairly shitty, the weapons all feel really under powered. The setting and costumes and theme is all pretty well done, just the game itself sorta sucks.

Except, I gotta say, the wingstick. Which is also the downfall of the game. Most heavily armored tango? Mags and mags of AP AK rounds, or two modded Wingsticks... Hmmm. :?

And after losing chunks of my soul to Skyrim and Borderlands, I decided to try FO:NV. If you can look past the glitches (It lost my first save file within an hour) and the lack of a run button, you can see a pretty fair, intriguing game. I had an :ooh: moment when I realized I could combine my 6 shitty 9mms into one good one. I can definitely see the relation to Skyrim if in engine and developer only.

Rage is worth 5-10 for the setting alone.

But damn is it a shitty game, horrible graphic issues and lame combat. The racing and mini games are sorta fun. You could really tell ID made the game, but I was never a huge fan of DOOM past the first one, its just one type of game that hasn't stayed fun.

Fallout new vegas, Went back and modded the hell out of it this time and its playing like a whole new game. New vegas Bounties mod is funny as hell and the Bounties you get sent out to collect are pretty wild with lots of references to other games/ movies.

See, one of the issues is I have no internet access at home. Period. And bringing in a Xbox to the computer lab to borrow the school's wifi would be... well, unfavorable. So I know about patches and mods. But cannot get to them. If I could load some on my Xbox formatted thumb drive then install them, that would be win.

The original ARMA right now, since I don't want to torture my laptop with ARMAII. Trying to figure out a custom mission right now, but the people at Armaholic.com are NO help whatsoever. :vmad: If anyone is familiar with the mission editor in ARMA 1, I'd really appreciate some help.

Ironic, was just helping someone in the ARMA 2 mission editor, I never played ARMA I but if the editor is the same I may be able to help.

It's pretty similar to my understanding, the major exception being ARMA 1 doesn't have a Modules tool. Basically, I'm trying to get a group of OPFOR units move once the paramaters in a trigger are met, specifically when I enter a specific area.

Its been a while,

But create trigger thats activated by blufor, use the sync tool, sync it to a move waypoint linked to opfor.

And wow, XCOM is ruthless, I haven't had my ass kicked this bad by a game in, forever. Witcher 2 is a close second but 75% causalities is a good mission right now.

I've been having a lot of fun with Resident Evil 6, they brought back zombies in Leon's campaign.

Still playing Mass Effect 2. I did not realize that I got the disc that has all the DLCs for the game. The Overlord mission was creepy as hell, and the battle in Lair of the Shadow Broker was awesome.
