phil, that's exactly what I thought. :) and the idea that tiny Jessica Alba would kick his ass was funny. I just thought I'd let you know about the prominent meaning of roofie + female in case you weren't aware, so you didn't have your meaning misunderstood in future posts.

Am I the only one who thinks a miniature bottle of booze is the wrong way to be going in this situation? Wouldn't it be better to bring one of the oversized bottles with the built in handle, go to town, and be blacked out by the time the zeds started chewing on your tasty humanflesh?

Gimme two, pina cooladas; gotta have one, for each hand. Let's set sail with Captain Morgan, though we'll never leave dry land...

Suffered my own personal zombocalypse-in-microcosm. Suddenly no 'net, no house, etc (I'll post up a thread in Bug Out Gear about it soon).

I've got about a week of 'net time while I'm staying at my brother's.

Funny you should ask though... I was just about to post in Urban Dead to enquire as to whether something awful ate Malton or not.

IF by chance I found myself in a situation, and IF there was absolutly no way out, and IF I didn't have any other options....

I'd smack myself for getting into a situation such as that. Then try and go barenuckles or rock and roll with whatever I happen to have left and use it as a club

Oh, Raven? The cool part is that he kept it in his freakin' sidecar.

Thing is, deterrents don't work against zombies. I'd rather invest that effort in a plan NOT to get eaten by zombies, than a plan to take a bunch of 'em with me.

oh i see what your saying.

Well, as awsome as the sentimental, "calmly rocking in the armchair, with a cigar in one hand, and handgun in the other, moments before your inevitable death" scenerios are in movies and stories, I don't think it'll be as... tranquil.

I don't think theres signifigant enough of a probability that this sort of thing would happen, to actually make such a pouch.

If you have enough time to relax and down a bottle of jack d and jim bean (Unless you chugged it, take at least minutes), while enjoying your cigar (Takes at least 30 seconds just to light it properly), writing a letter to your loved ones (not like it matters, since if your in this sort of zombie situation, it would pride me to assume that most people on the forum would be the best of the best zombie survivors, thus, the rest of your family would be dead, and therefore, your letter is pointless), while sobbing over your family pictures, you probably have enough time to try to do... Anything. At. All.

Even if it consisted of bare-footedly kicking a wall as hard as u can in a rediculous attempt to get out of the house, I think it would be time better spent than trying to re-enact the 'I Am Legend' ending.

It's cool in literature, it's cool in movies, but it's probably not too cool in real life.

Edit:

If the situation is THAT BAD, you'd probably want to kill yourself. In a situation like that, If it was virtual inevitability, I'd like to feel as little pain as possible; Shoot me in the brain.

Then again, this is an interesting to plan out hypothetically, just as we plan out other things for this hypothetical apocalypse lol

Lo there do I see my father.
Lo there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers.
Lo there do I see the lines of my people, back to the beginning.
Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them,
In the Halls of Valhalla,
Where the brave,
May live,
Forever.

Then make Odin and Tyr proud by going out on your feet. No other way.

I would like to say it would be like them guys riding out into the hordes in Lord of the Rings, but I have a difficult time believing I could be that elegant when I'm toasted off SoCo and swinging a 5 foot blade around like a man possessed.
