Eberlestock has added some new stuff to their hunting line-up. I'm not up on the specifics, just chatting with my old gunny about it. He likes a pack that can carry an elk quarter with ease.
Opinions subject to change in light of new information.

This is a new Norwegian company that makes a nice hunting backpack. I've met the inventor several times at the range, and have tried his prototype pack. The guy's a proper gearwhore, so a lot of thought has gone into these.

Check out the video.

Wow, That's a pretty sweet pack! I wonder if he is in production yet. Will definitely contact him, thanks.

He's in production, but in limited numbers, and is taking preorders for delivery in May.

Wow, some cool looking packs out there......they are just so dam expensive. Anything I buy has to have that 100% guarantee like Kifaru, Duluth, Badlands, or some such, I think Frost River also. I'd like to check out one of those Tenzig packs though. I still think I'm going to go simple this time for good. Something from Frost River or Duluth. I have seen so many "Voodoo Tactical" level packs fall apart in the last few weeks. With almost no use. The only thing actually holding up for me are Tactical Tailor and my old Kifaru E&E packs, which I have two, both rigged out for medicine. I attached two of the quart kifaru pouches to the sides of a green one and just wore it for a month straight with 30lbs in it. Not a missed stitch. I literally have a room of nylon gear and can only count of a few things.......I won't even get into medical packs. 90% of the crap out there, jeez.

I saw Tenzing at SHOT 2012. Not sure about the dynema look.

Here's our quick demo of these packs.

They're very cool. We have a few in stock now. Vorn has more camo patterns in the works, perhaps next year.
