Those "Hostess" products may become collector items... with Hostess going out of business...

Good thing they have a shelf life of something like a thousand years...

Widow, I'll trade you 2 gallons of fresh cow milk, 2 dozen eggs AND a live hen for a box of each....what do you say?
Has anyone turned a FMJ bullet into a hollowpoint? I figure it can be done on a lathe or a perfectly centered jig at low speed

Why would you want to? After the time and money (wear, electricity, etc) you're just got a batch a cheap, shitty hollowpoints that will likely perform less effectively than a decent FMJ.

Ha, when I went to a few stores after the announced shut down, it was hilarious to see what was left over: the 100 calorie snack packs and the secondary brands like Zingers or something. It was funny to see what was considered the "step-children" of the Hostess brands.

Really? A new thread to tell everyone you bought some 9mm and fuckin' snacks?

Besides, when the apocalypse hits I'm just going to use the same currency that I buy everything with now; HJs.
Hellow fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you. Thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. What?. Taxes. They'll be lower son. The Democratic vote for me is right thing to do, Philadeplhia. So do.

The Sportsman Guide sells a jig to do exactly this.

I don't see the point myself, for Zombies I plan on doing head shots and FMJ will penetrate through the skull better.

I do like shopping at the sportsmans guide however. Some great surplus deals to be had.

FMJ to HP is a bad idea, the jacket is not bonded and seperation is an issue.
Just because Sportsmansguide sells a jig dosen't mean it should be done, it means enough people are silly enough to try that they will sell you the makings of a Darwin Award and don't care about safety or proper education.

I am stocking up on truly valuable stuff for trade and barter-stuff nobody seems to stock up on and will be in dire need once the dust settles: hand tools, nails, screws, hinges, and toilet paper for the win!

I'm counting on charmin, aspirin and malboros to take care of my bartering needs. Actually, I'm keeping the charmin...
