Here are my three. This is kind of an old picture, and they have a lot more "character" now, but there are my three go-to blades.

Re: ZS Hot or Not: Knives Edition

Some of the collection.
The Boker pocket kukri and the T2 dagger are just guilty pleasures. Just had to have them. The T2 knives was one of my first knives.

Re: ZS Hot or Not: Knives Edition
I decided to take a step backwards in time and carry a traditional pocket knife while at work. Some of the tactical folders were getting me weird looks when pulled out in an office setting, and the clips were wearing the corners of my dress pants out rather quickly. Ordered one of these, should have it in hand in a few days!

Swiss Army Trekker

My pet Rowen made RC3.

Swiss Army lumberjacks. One is BNIB.

Swiss Bianco Carver in apocalypse green

Estwing Riggers Hammer. I made the ax mask out of kydex. The blade has been thinned out and is much more useful then the factory edge.

Mora with homemade kydex pants.

Re: ZS Hot or Not: Knives Edition
Esee candiru for me and an Izula II that I gave to my brother.

Swiss Army small tinker and Hiker. The Hiker was a Father's Day from my wife and newborn daughter this year.

Spyderco endura and Delica. I sold both of these because I never carried them.

Spyderco Para military 2. I sold it because we needed cash when my wife was on maternity leave.

My beloved leatherman Supertool 300. This thing is a tank. I abuse it daily at work.

Leatherman Blast in black oxide finish. Also shown is a removable dot driver. I bought the tool on Ebay for $20 shipped. The stupid bit driver cost me that much.

Re: ZS Hot or Not: Knives Edition
Beard's not quite grown in yet, forgive the homeless guy look.
Found this one sitting on the shelf at a thrift/odds-and-ends store here in town. I played with it for a bit, convinced myself that tantos aren't as ugly as I think they are, and bought it.
440c steel, so not too bad, plus a nice firm assisted opening and really solid lock. For $30 I don't think I did too bad.

Am I the only one that thinks the picture is just hokey as hell?

Re: ZS Hot or Not: Knives Edition
Ya'll gon' make me doublepost up in here, up in here...
Anyways, new karambit. I'm carrying it, but mostly just so I can get used to the weight and find a good spot on my belt. Once I get a plastic trainer and some time practicing with it, I'll consider it a more viable defensive option.

Didn't get pics of the sheath, which is a nice kydex set-up with a belt loop.

Re: ZS Hot or Not: Knives Edition
well i got my hand on 2 Kiku SOG folder (for now, my friend is suppose to get one of these from me later but for now they are mines)
The first and only folder made by Master Kiku Matsuda to end his career with a bang !! he developed this folder since he never made one before and he made it with all the knowledge of a life time career.
made of forged AUS-8 with a rockwell of nearly 60 and a edge as fine as a scalpel it is one heck of a slicing beast. with a micarta handle that beast ain't gonna go anywhere in your hand.
Here you can see the geometry of the edge, you can see it follow a pattern similar to the tracker knife, with a hook in the blade, that i like to compare to a Velociraptor claw that grip and rip whatever you want
