I don't have any SHTF knives outside of my multitools, and a shitty pocketknife, but I've got a home-defense weapon all nice and chosen.

It's not the most damaging, but I figure it's shortcomings in killability are made up in shock tactics. Yeah, useless on zombies, but rapists and burglars'd think twice.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own...

I have that same Winchester Skinner Mr. Trooper has and I too was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The $5.00 pricetag( clearance at wally world) was unbeatable.
