Pepper spray cleanup

Post by Close_enough » Thu Feb 04, 2016 4:25 pm

Pretty much what is says. My preferred "bad doggy/weapons free" device is OC spray. While I'm not so concerned about letting fly outdoors, indoors is going to require a bit of cleanup after the fact. Does anybody have a favorite hack or words of advice about getting the stuff off of walls, laminate flooring, and/or area rugs? I prefer foam or gel forms that DON'T aerosolize to avoid getting the stuff sucked in the vent system.

Not sure about surface clean up, the oc wipes made specifically for the purpose would be my first guess. For people clean up, ignore the commercial cleaners and keep a bottle of original Johnson & Johnson no more tears baby shampoo - it works a heck of a lot better than anything else I've ever tried. As a former corrections officer I have been sprayed many times - so real world experience.

depends on the kind. if its OC its water based and just soap and water off the floors or what ever. if it is pepper spray with a kerosene/ petroleum base than id say maybe something that cuts through grease?
Just dry the effected area and than wash its

Febreeze helps too.

I could have swore it said "prepper spray" on the first pass.
You go 'round and around it
You go over and under
I go through
