Fallkniven F1 or Bark River?

For those who live in areas where firearms are not an option and those that are smart enough to have a back up.

Fallkniven F1 or Bark River?

Post by Maverick299 » Fri Oct 18, 2013 1:57 pm

I'm torn between these three. The knife will realistically see most of its use gutting and skinning deer with a little bit of batoning and general camp use. What say you, ZS?

**edit** I have/had Bark Rivers before so I know what the quality is like, never owned a Fallkniven so there is a bit of a mystery to me on that one.

Can't comment on the F1 , But I have had a BRK Bravo1 for several years and am quite fond of it . Really does work as advertised and have been nothing but pleased with it's performance .

That said , I want something different and am going to sell it and get a Scrapyard 411 because I feel it will suit my personal needs better ,

Ooh, very nice. I've been wanting to take the plunge into Bark River for awhile.

You won't be disappointed. I've owned/own several over the years and they are tough to beat.
