Lol. About three or four years ago, the spouse was walking the dogs in the back yard. I was in the kitchen, and all of a sudden I hear her yelling (presumably at the dogs). I went to the windows to see what was up, and she was smacking the dogs, yelling (I thought at them), and dragging them by their leads towards the house. She'd made it to the garage by the time I got my shoes on, still smacking at the dogs, yelling out in pain, and apologizing to the dogs every time she hit them.

Something like "OUCH!" *Smack*. "I'm sorry, baby". "OUCH". etc.

It seems they'd disturbed a nest of yellowjackets, and she was trying to kill them as they landed on the dogs as she was getting stung.

I honestly thought she'd finally gone off her rocker.

Oh, forgot this one.

I was in a Green Cafe in Manhattan across the street from the north entrance of Bloomingdale's, home of the $400 handbag, getting myself a bite to eat with mom and Kelly (BFF and girlfriend at the time). While digging into my chicken strips, I started paying more attention to the guy behind me. He was a skinny Latino man in his early 20s. Unshaven and wearing low-rider jeans and a stained, oversized shirt. And he was schizophrenic.

He was talking to some invisible man standing next to me, but nothing coherent. Mostly "You know what I mean? You know what I mean? I mean....you get me? Sorry, sorry." I actually thought he was apologizing to me when he noticed I was staring, but as I listened closer I found that he had no clue of my existence and was apologizing to invisible man.

I had Kelly keep an eye on him, since my back was to him and I didn't want him to start screaming and plunge a knife in my back. Eventually he got up, took his ragged styrofoam cup, and left.

Was on aft lookout as we pulled out of Naha Okinawa. We were followed by 3 orange orbs for about 2 hours. The whole crew and about 200 marines saw it too. The orbs stayed out about an estimated 7-10 miles, though it is hard to judge UFOs (as per the definition) at sea. The official explanation was they were headlights of cars in the hills of Okinanwa. My response is no matter how many course changes we made, those orbs were at our 180 the whole 2 hours. Cars on hills don't follow ships around in the ocean.
I'm no automotive EXPERT, or nuthin, BUT- I'm not aware of any cars out that have THREE headlights, nor of any that use orange lights- anywhere on the car. Amber, red, and the normal "white", or even those newer blue-white, for headlights, but not orange. Was there some fog or other atmospheric phenomena that might account for a color shift?
Even supposing there was a good explanation for the color, you still have them on the shifting to stay @ 180 during/after course changes- cars might move, but last I checked, hills don't. The "official explanation" doesn't hold water.
Did they stay in a formation, or did the arrangement of 3 lights shift around?
The closest I've ever come to seeing a UFO, was what appeared to be a brightly glowing disk, seen edge-on, or maybe a cigar-shaped craft- turned out to be the sun reflecting off of a very high altitude commercial jet, and as the sun went down, and it moved along, the wings became (barely) visible. Kind of bummed me out, like I'd been cheated or something.

Autumn, evening, N. CA, 1978- A classic, metallic-colored, disc shaped ufo with bright red and white light patterns along its circumference, silently hovered about 75 m. above an open field for at least one full minute, then zoomed away vertically to pause thousands meters above within seconds, then ejected a glowing red orb, and raced away out of sight instantly, along with the orb, a few seconds later. I shit you not. We aren't alone...

Back when I was in college, on my way to class I noticed a squirrel perched on a bench. In its possession was a whole bagel. Next to it was a styrofoam cup which at this point I had no choice but to presume that it was filled with coffee.

Well the other morning I wake up with the feeling of someone in the room, open my eyes and see nothing, close my eyes and it instantly feels/sounds like someone is taking a jackhammer to the inside of my skull. This is common when I wake up with sleep paralysis, so I realized what was going on and just laid there to wait it out. Usually it wears off after a few seconds, but this time it felt like I laid there for an hour, with that deafening buzzing going on in my head, and shadows flitting past my vision and weird noises happening. I'm sure it wasn't really an hour, but it felt like forever before I could open my eyes and move around. For a while I wondered if I was having a seizure or something. Needless to say it was unpleasant.

The time before I was house sitting and was woken up by the dogs jumping on the bed. I woke up and sat up, and looked to see that they're still locked up in their kennels, laid back down and as soon as I closed my eyes I could literally feel them jumping on the bed. This one only lasted a few seconds, but it was uncanny how real it felt.

Sleep paralysis blows.
yea i had the same thing happen the other day except i was dreaming about the New dead space game, i was actually in it and one of the little crap heads from the game jumped on me in the dream and i woke up, but when i woke up i couldnt move and the little shit was on my bed. closed my eyes got a feeling like i was having a seizure and BAM it was over. i hate dreams like that.

There's a creepy documentary on the Blu Ray DVD of Inception where they discuss sleeping disorders and dreams. A sleep expert interviewed by the director said it's possible to be paralyzed when you wake up. It's rare but does happen. Fortunately, the paralysis wears off after a few minutes.

I thought that at first, but the client told me that car goes by several times a day, especially in the afternoon.
That made me think of a story I heard at work a few years ago. Supposedly there was a guy that lost his driver's license (DUI) so he started riding a moped back and forth to work. In the cold weather months, he built a frame out of wood and plastic sheeting that he attached to the moped somehow, creating a little cabin for himself.

Wish someone had taken a picture of that.
Nothing unusual to me. BMW in fact, makes a scooter that comes with a detachable hardtop. You can attach rollup side windows so it can be driven in the rain. I've seen the F1 driver Jensen Button riding one when he was scouting out the streets of Monaco during his rookie season. He then proceeded to carry out over 110 practice laps the next weekend - almost 30 more than the actual race itself!

Ive got a good sleep paralysis story and another one to keep this thread going.

I had never experienced sleep paralysis prior to this so it freaked me out. One morning I woke up to the sound of my dad, outside my room, calling me upstairs for breakfast. I paused for a bit and when I opened my eyes I noticed a demon like figure standing by my door, similar to gollum from LOTR though he was much darker and less defined. When I tried to jump up and defend myself, I physically couldnt. I could only move my eyes. I tried to scream but nothing came out. I closed my eyes hoping it was just a dream but I sensed the figure moving closer to the side of my bed. I opened my eyes and the figure was standing over me to my right. I screamed again, but nothing came out. Finally I was able to let out a quiet moan. Immediately after I let out the moan, the figure pressed his curved finger to my lips and and made a "ssshhhhhhh" sound. Shortly after this the paralysis wore off and the figure vanished.

On another occasion I was driving home from a friends place in Calgary at about 2AM. I pulled up to an intersection and there was a little Hyundai accent sitting alone, about 2 cars back from the front of the stop line.
As I pulled behind the car, a panicked 25ish year old female got out of the vehicle and approached the window of my 1986 Ford Bronco. She said she had gotten in an accident and needed a ride home just a few blocks away. Against my better judgement I told her to get in. As we pulled passed her car, I assessed the damages. The windshield appeared to have been struck in the dead center by an object such as a bat or a hammer. The hood of the car was indented in the very center as well, and the tail lights and headlights were all smashed. At that moment I knew the damage could not have been caused by a collision. As i drove away from the scene, I asked the young lady what happened. Still in a sense of panic and shock she exclaimed, "Drive faster, turn down the alley, They are going to get you" , I said "Who, Who is going to get me?", she said "the men with ski masks and axes", as she looked around if someone was following us.... I was freaked out for the entire 20 minutes it took to drive her home. And when I got to her house she wanted me to pull up onto a sketchy driveway. I dropped her off on the street in front of her house, and never heard from her again.

Okay, I went to Disney yesterday with my mother and two of my girl friends. The Polynesian Resort was..........interesting.

1. Guy got served his divorce papers at the pool. He spent the entire incident chatting and joking around on the phone. I can see why she left him.

2. A morbidly obese preteen boy wearing nothing but swim trunks began wailing (so loudly and whale-like that the reverb made it sound like someone howling into a PA system) and banging his head against the hotel door repeatedly. Hotel manager tried to get him to calm down and say what was wrong, but he couldn't say anything more coherent than "Vroom" before screaming and trying to knock himself out again. They finally had to get EMTs to drag him into the room and tranquilize him. According to what we eavesdropped on there was no medical history to support this. He literally was going insane for no reason.

I'm not sure even he knew. He responded to everything his mother said to try and calm him down or threaten him by wailing at the top of his lungs and slamming his head against the door. Now, I can only presume it was his head later on; I didn't want to get caught spying so I hid behind a wall and just listened, but I had seen him previously banging his head and the banging continued. The manager got him to calm down for a few seconds at a time, but he always returned to insanity almost instantly. When trying to get him to explain it, he responded with "Dwugdug", then "Dwoom", then "Vroom", then psychotic screaming. His mom said something about taking him to the Magic Kingdom, but he just started screaming again.

Maybe he ran into some kind of Lovecraftian horror in Fantasyland and it melted his brain?

Maybe he got stuck in the "It's A Small World" ride for an hour or two. Or drank the pool water.

I am watching something strange now.

Snow. Coming. Down.

In April. About an inch in the last hour or so.

That's nothing. When my mom was younger she lived in Michigan. It was July 4 and they were swimming at a lake. Warm weather, warm water, perfect day. They go to sleep in their tents and wake up the next morning in the middle of snow in tank tops and shorts. The temperature dropped from summer temperatures to frozen in literally one night.

Seen that happen in late June, except it was an ice storm. Bad mojo Michigan has for weather.
