I'd have to say either, Bad Company by FFDP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNHlVo0cPa8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or the Viking Warrior by Volbeat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSP9d2QH6OE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope to sing my own death song when my time comes. If I'm unable to sing, I hope I'll hear it in my mind.

If I need a song to pump me up just before going out in a blaze of glory then it would have to be 94 Hours by As I Lay Dying. But if it was like a movie when it's the background track with a montage of said blaze of glory, then How's it gonna be? by Third Eye Blind.

I can think of 3 possibilities.

1. "Don't Fear the Reaper" - Blue Oyster Cult

2. "The Man Comes Around" - Johnny Cash

3. "Consuming Fire" - Third Day

"If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh, and sew our skins into their clothing - and if we're very very lucky, they'll do it in that order."
And I looked and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him.

This is an awesome thread! Mortality is inevitable! What an asshole for bringing it up...but I like it none the less.

If preparing for the suicide escape run in which survival is unlikely:
Welcome Home (Sanitarium) or For Whom the Bell Tolls (Zombieland, I know, I know...still badass though) - Metallica

If reaching the final moments of blaze of glory:
Passenger - Deftones

If somehow Death's grasp is evaded:
Tequila - The Champs :mrgreen:
Northern Alpine
"Two wrongs don't make a right Danny, but three rights make a left" - Ty Webb

Followed immediately by All Hallows Eve by Type O Negative (for those in the know and for obvious reasons) http://youtu.be/abmuKofM5kw

and if it works.......or I win....please......the first 40 seconds of Stand Up by Steelheart (use the Rockstar Version)
follow that immdiately up with LOL by Steelheart because I will be LOLing .....hysterically http://youtu.be/wCFtfgz-jHo

If I'm going down in a blaze of glory: God's Gonna Cut you Down - Johnny Cash

All sad and weepy: By Your Side - Tenth Avenue North

Procession: Krummavisur - it's an Icelandic folk song, something I learned a long time ago.

If we turn the tide and start to win: Light 'em up - Day of Fire

Or, if I want something for all of them: The theme from Serenity. :D

Well if its gonna be a go-down-swinging kind of death, the kind where theres no escape from the horde of undead moving in and all you have is a machete: "Down With The Sickness," by Disturbed.
