If I had to limit myself to only one long arm and one handgun I would pick my most reliable tried and true pair. A folding stock Romanian AKM in 7.62x39 with a Surefire and Glock 19 (9mm) with light/laser. Why? The most common cause of a FTF (Fail to Fire) on an AK is an empty magazine. They are simple to maintain, will take a tremendous amount of use and abuse and keep on ticking. With a reliable accuracy in range out to 400 yards, that is more than enough for my means. If the threat is beyond a couple of hundred yards I'm far enough away to avoid it/them. Plus with the 30 round box magazines and a couple of 75 round drums you've got a fair amount of fire power. What I like about the G-19 is the ability to carry the 32 round "Happy Stick" magazines as well as the standard G-19 and G-17 mags. Both platforms will sustain a tremendous amount of abuse and keep on firing. Reliability is my number one priority.

I would plan to eventually do the paperwork and pay the tax stamp to add a 9mm Suppressor. For close quarter combat, house and building clearing you don't want to advertise your presence and you need your hearing to avoid surprise ambushes and such.

Another thing I plan on purchasing is a .22LR conversion kit for the Glock along with a Suppressor for this caliber as well. The twenty-two is very effective at close to medium ranges for Zeds and light enough to carry thousands of rounds of ammunition and even quieter with a suppressor than the 9mm.

One thing...I would suggest you reconsider attempting to use G21 magazines in your G19. ;-)

Id have to say my WASR the thing is a beast I use to use it as my hog gun before I got my 308 it will taking a beating and keep running. Beyond basic, parts are everywhere does not require as much maintenance as other rifles. Handguns is a hard one, it wont be a Glock because I dont own any (nothing against them just dont like the grip angle) id like to take my SD40 as I love 14+1 in 40cal but I just dont trust plastic for long term abuse, id say I would have to go with one of my 1911's most likely full size GI as again parts are pretty common. Might change my mind after I put a few more rounds through my Tanfoglio to build up some trust with it, its kinda cheating though as it has two slide 9mm/22LR but technically its still one gun.

Oooops......My Bad! corrected error, I don't know why I keep thinking the full sized 9 mm is the 21 when it's the 17. For well over twenty some years I only spoke 1911, so please forgive me, I'm new to this European dialect. :?

AR-15
Glock 17

That's it. Plus some spare ammo on top of my normal mag load.

As of right now, it's my RIA 1911 and my Yugo SKS, but I'll be replacing the SKS with an AK some time in the future.

If I have to pick one of each, Mossberg 835 12 gauge, and Rossi .357 mag. Both cheap and reliable, both suitable for hunting and defense.

Depending on the situation, most likely my SA M1A & Sig Sauer P220. I'd have to outfit my wife with the S&W 360 M&P 357 & Winchester Defender 12guage. Honestly, I hope I never have to bug out, staying put sounds safer vs dealing with road chaos, that is if the cituation allows.

IIRC, Polley is running a Vltor off-set mount with QD throw lever. Same as the one in the top right:

why, all of them, of course. there is an implication of "you only get one of each,' but this is unspecific and therefore unclear.

were that the case, the sidearm would be my Superblackhawk, and the longarm would be the HK91.

It's a Bulgarian-made Makarov PM. Also, the AK mount (to whomever asked) is a VLTOR SMQ-OCG.

Oh, and here's how the SGL 21-94 sits today:

I would have to choose from the weapons I have the most ammo for at the moment.
That would be:
Mossberg 590A1
Mossberg .410 bolt action (it's old)
.50 Hawken
Remington 597 scoped
Dan Wesson 715 4" 357mag

Awaiting ammo:
Winchester 94 30/30 scoped
Norinco SKS
Pedersoli 58 Remington in .44
Traditions in-line .50 scoped
Western Field 20ga. pump

Other:
Bear Strike Compound Bow
Various blades in various sizes and configurations

That's my menu. Tough choices for me to leave behind (sentimental value) but I believe the 590A1 and the .357 would keep me going for a while. If I could get away with 2 long guns, I would include the Rem. 597.

Since the thread name limits me to one each I would take my M4agery and Glock 19. If I wasn't constrained by the thread and was on foot I would probably add a .22 in my bag.

If I was in a vehicle it would go by priority of people, our 'bugout/inch/whatever" bags, a few momento's like photo's, additional food and base camp type gear (bigger tent, coleman stove, lantern, 5 gallon tank(s), etc), and some extra gas then whatever other guns and ammo as well as other useful tools we could fit. I would try pretty hard to have a second Glock 19, my Rem 870 12 gauge shotgun with long and short barrels, whichever .22 (rifle or pistol) wasn't in my pack and my 1903 30.06 and a .357 magnum.
Take care of eachother
