They hide in the woodpile or under the porches in the Pacific Northwest. Once they get you, you know it by the huge gaping wound that is draining on your arm, and the emergency room bill in your mailbox

We got brown recluse spiders here too... Damn freaky little things... Neighbor about five houses down lost a chunk of her hand from one....

I see anything remotely that looks like one, I hit it with pepper spray....

Don't know what pepperspray does... TRY IT

Haha... That's not wrong, your just keeping under the Alliance radar....

By the way, doesn't Musetta Vander, the Mantis Woman from Buffy bear a striking resemblance to melinda Clarke, who played Nandi in Firefly?

The praying mantis is the Chuck Norris of the insect kingdom!!!

Why do they call it a Brown Recluse??? Because it's hiding....

Okay, how is it that mantises can be such bamfs, yet I still have to clean half a dozen of them out of the dog's water every few days?

IDK but I'm glad not to be a part of the inscet world. That's so harsh being eaten alive.

Those mantis vs. spider fights were kinda unfair. The mantic is an active predator and the spider is a passive predator. The mantis will have the advantage.

In response to said Brown Recluse hellspawn, and any and all forms of arachnid and insect life, zombie or otherwise, I have only to say this.

I could agree with that. So when I am a really poor movie maker, I know I can cast Vander for less with the same results as Clarke

You know, if sci fi channel had one guy who would dig thru our forums, they'd have enough material to make for or five years of made for tv films...

We could charge them a minor fee, transferrable to a charity of our choosing of course, and can you imagine...

MegaSpider versus Flying Ninja Mantis Hybrids, part 4... Written by Thomas Lee and Allen Smithee, Story by Zombie Squad... Starring Ludacris, Anna Faris, and a host of actors who are related to really good actors in a roundabout way.
Special Digital effects by Wannabe FX, and stock footage from MegaSpider versus Flying Ninja Mantis Hybrids parts 1 thru 3...

Next week, on Scifi LateNight pay per view event; Zombie Hookers and the Mall of Death... Tune in as romance blooms between star crossed lovers, one, a young portly security guard working graveyard shift, the other an undead zombie hooker with a heart of gold.... and maggots....

Rated TV-14, viewer discretion is advised....

A spider bit me, and I think it was poisonous.

I have this huge red welt that looks like a bulls-eye on my arm.

And I have a headache.

I’m tired.

I’m nauseaous.

I’m restless.

Gah, any home remedies for this ?

i founded some first aid

http://www.spiderbitesymptomsguide.com/spiders-identification
they write about first aid somethin about this:
PREVENTION AND FIRST AID: Health education is the most important thing for the prevention of spider bites (informing the population about the spiders and their bites). The mechanization of agriculture, use of protective clothes and extermination of poisonous spiders (modern insecticides) are also very important preventive methods.Various products can be found in pharmacies and they can be bought with a doctor’s prescription. First Aid: Wash the bite site with soap and water. Repeat this two or three times a day until the skin heals. Apply cold compresses. To prevent the development of infection, apply antibiotic grease around the area of the bite and keep your hands clean.

If you have any reason to believe that you have been bitten by a black widow or brown recluse spider, put ice on the bite area and go to the emergency room!

Please tell me that i don't have to go to the emergency room??

Your lugs are too big, spiders will just crawl between them. Probably the only time I'd consider skate shoes over something more robust.

Also, in the mantis vs spider (2) vid, I love how the mantis bites off two of the legs, eats a bit of the body, then goes back to finish the legs while the spider is still alive. I like being human.
