Zombie Photo Help

Postby KingLuey7 » Thu Mar 22, 2012 2:07 am

So im a photographer and im working on a zombie project. I set up a story line and am taking my pictures like you would see in movie stills. Im putting my pictures in a Comic book style format.. so basicly a zombie comic book. Problem is i cant thing of a damn title for it.. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas they would like to share? i need help..

story starts out with a boy in his 20s comes home tired from a long day, he says hello to his mom an notices something is wrong. His brother has a strange cut on his shoulder. He goes to bed thinking it will jus take time to heal. early in the morning he hears a noise outside his door... you can guess what it is, he has to escape the house, find shelter, find weapons, then travel to try and save a loved one, ofcourse with a surprise twist at the end.

the story sounds plain but with black and white images along with a few HDR portraits to show some epic color the story is exciting to see unfold

so agin im looking for some help on a title, maybe not a strait answer but somethin to get my juices flowing
if you are prepared for zombies you are prepared for anything

My suggestion would be a title that with some signficance that only becomes apparent when that "surprise twist" is revealed. The trick is coming up with something that in no way telegraphs what that twist would be. Do it right and it's a homerun.

Since I don't know what that twist is, I can't give you anything more specific. If you want to PM me, I might be able to come up with something along those lines.

There was an African TV show that I used to watch before attending Sunday school as a child that had a great name you could borrow for your story. It was called "Daktari."

The one thing I would like to see a good photographer do is launch a website called: "Post The Zombie."

Most people experience such a deep, great, personal joy from spotting and posting "People of Walmart." It seems every week, a friend will send me 41 of those photos from the website. Imagine a similiar website where people could post pictures of people they saw that looked, or walked, or dressed like a zombie. I work with one when I am onsite in Virginia. Now, he is a card-carrying genius that can write 300 of lines of code in a moment and perform regression analysis (even Poisson distributions!) with a piece of chalk on the sidewalk, but he looks just like a walker.
People put too much emphasis on ole’ Charlie Darwin’s theory about the survival of the fittest. It has produced a cottage industry of shake-weights, special-muscle-morphing powder drinks, and girly men that sell exercise videos. Not me.
See, this here is the 1911.”
