TGC said it much better than I did, and it is already in the stickies. Which obviously no one reads or pays attention to.

Don't confuse a belligerent and aggressive attitude with the strength, training, and conditioning needed to prevail in a fight. How do you know you have the Will To Win, if you don't even have the will to train?

Wat?
Sorry, tl;dr.
“Political tags – such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth – are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.” Robert A. Heinlein

That is in no way a personal attack on an individual. It is a stereotype of a particular area. And we are all adults here and I don't think we need to be sheltered from the big bad world. As preppers we should be stronger than the rest of the sheep I would think.

I'm a guy from Kentucky. If comments like "Kentucky is full of inbred hicks" were tolerated here, I wouldn't be here. Why? I'm sick of it. I here that comment a lot when people find out where I'm from, all over the Internet and IRL. It gets in the way of useful conversation and alienates people that ZS is trying to reach.

The way I see it, ZS isn't a gun club, a prepper's club, or a survivalist group. Zombie Squad is a CHARITY. The forum is just one part of the charity. The things that aren't allowed aren't allowed for very good reasons. As some mods have already stated, political discussions bring in lots of dogpiling, flaming, and other Internet fuckwittery.

Shit like that alienates the other groups that this charity works with, people who give us money or accept our money to help out when the SHTF somewhere and people need help.

Someone above said that Zombie Squad is not the forums. They are right. Zombie Squad is the volunteers that go out and give presentations on disaster preparedness. Zombie Squad is the local chapters that host fundraisers and food drives for good causes. Zombie Squad is the guys who line up at the Bloodmobile next to all of the people they badgered, conned, or inticed to donate blood that day. The forums rules keep the forum from getting in the way of that work. If the forum does become a problem, well, The Board might just make it go away.

Everyone got here before me. But basically, what Raptor, Dogbane, the_alias, Phil, whisk.e, TGC, DarkAxel, and several others said. I didn't keep your thread locked and give you a warning because it was conservative, I did so because it was political, and in this particular instance happened to be conservative. You're making yourself out to be some sort of martyr to the cause "BAN ME IF YOU WANT, WHAT I'M SAYING IS THE TRUTH!!!" and so forth, but it really isn't like that. It's honestly too bad that you seem to feel as though it is, or should be, that way.
