He claimed credit for a recent mosque arson, and had a manifesto filled with the usual "They will not replace us" rhetoric. The news is reporting that an off duty border patrol officer took a shot at him, and that congregation members "engaged him". Whether engaged just referred to the officer, or he was getting pelted by prayer books and folding chairs, I don't know. But, IMHO, shooting back probably cut the body count by a lot.

At least one person was dead and seven others were injured Sunday following a shooting during a cookout in Baltimore, officials said.

Authorities responded to a reported shooting just after 5 p.m. in 2500 block of Edmonson Avenue, in the city's western district, Baltimore Police spokesperson Chakia Fennoy confirmed to Fox News.

Local TV7 - Police department spokeswoman Chakia Fennoy said authorities received a call shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday reporting that multiple people had been shot.

Fennoy said one of the victims has died but that she had no information about the conditions of the others.

The shooting happened on a street in the western part of the city.
