Anyone know anything about it?

The fact that you posted the address before I even released it is creeping me out. :D I think you're Skynet.

Thanks for the mention.

Hope anyone who checks the story out enjoys it!

(Oh, ignore the Hollywood Hulk Hogan thing on the index page. It's a joke, and will be off in about 12 hours.)

Looks promising. I thought you were posting something about veggie-style meat replacements having drama when I read it this morning, though. I'm no good in the morning.

I found it because of the link to the main ZS site in your links section.

Thanks by the way. I linked you back.

Ah. That does make more sense than you being an artificially intelligent supercomputer bent on the destruction of humanity and the institution of a worldwide robotic changeover.

No problem. I've been lurking here for a while now. It's the least I can do.

Hey, thanks for the linkage! Much appreciated!

Nah. I have a hard enough time getting myself to do homework.

World domination isn't on my agenda until 2006.

So, _z_ I am happy to see the online undead journal thing is blowing up like it is...I think you should post your journal URL at Homepage of the Dead....Make sure you put "online real-time undead journal" in the subject line. There will be people there happy to read your journal. In fact, most of my first readers came from homepage of the dead.

Hehe.

Thanks for the suggestions, Rap! It's more of a serial novel than a journal, even if it follows a chronology. Heh. Semantics. But the principle remains the same.

I'll give it a shot...I hate sitewhoring, though. Hmm...low traffic vs. self-advertising...it's a toughie. :)

Believe it or not, I found your site through Penny Arcade. Roundabout way to find it, eh? From videogames to zombie apocalypses.

Cool site, I'll start reading it later (I'm so tired I can't see straight now). I'm also going to join your forums when they're up.

Good luck with the story!

Thanks, sage.

rap - Oh, I gotcha. I don't mind being manipulated, just so long as I know I'm being manipulated. :D

rcs - Forums should be up before the weekend's out.

Serial novel, not a journal.

A novel written in segments published over a length of time. Journal's from one person's firsthand perspective; this is third person omniscient following a group of main characters on a much broader scale. :P

In case you didn't know, Z got the book published last December:
http://www.amazon.com/Plague-Dead-Morni ... 21-1526058

Has anyone checked it out yet?

I spaced out and forgot about it until just now. I'll be picking up a copy this weekend.

I picked up this book and read it at work this time last year. It is a good read and I enjoyed the style. My only complaint is I didn't get the feeling like I really "felt" for the characters as they were going through their various trials and tribulations. If there is ever a "second edition" to this I think it would be nice to see the characters get fleshed out a bit more so they felt more like people and less like just random names on the page.

From the Forum front page - "We have 26938 registered users"

I'd say we are doing pretty well.
Granted 50% of them are spambots....
