I am incredibly saddened by the loss of HK. He was a great member of this community and always more than willing to share his knowledge. I know that we will always have a place for him in our hearts, minds, and gun ranges.

I never knew him, as I only recently joined this community. But reading the get well soon thread and coming to this so soon shocked me, and while I can only vicariously feel the sorrow and burden you all feel, I wish you all the best. We have all gone through the pain of loss, and while time will lessen the shock and pain, we can never forget the good times we shared with our loved ones.

My Deepest Condolences to all affected by this sudden and tragic loss.

While there is no good way to die, quick and painless while with loved ones is pretty high on the list. I'm sorry for your loss.

Jen, words just fail at times like this. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm glad that you were with him when he went, and that the last few hours were spent with loved ones and with smiles and laughs.

My heart goes out to you and yours.

Goddamn, that's absolutely horrible. I never really talked to the guy via PM's or anything, but he sure seemed like a super nice guy from his forum posts. And his collection of Heckler and Koch gear made my cry myself to sleep from envy.

I sure can't get down there for the services, but if we can get going some sort of "Buy A Fuckton of Flowers for the Funeral Fund", I will send in the first paypal donation to it.

I am sorry for your loss.

As others have said, this forum won't be quite the same. The best thing we can do in his memory is carry on, and keep him in our hearts and memories.

I really don't know what to say. It almost seems surreal.

You have my condolences, HK33 certainly will be missed.

Incense and candles will be lit, and a lower reciever to an AR was purchased.

Always a reminder that we never know when we will dissapear.

Jen,

I'm very sorry for your loss. Once you set a day and time for the memorial service, please post the time, andI would like to go out to my range and put some lead downrange, thinking about Pat at that time.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss, there's nothing that works to say at a time like this, but if there is anything that this virtual stranger can do to help (if you need to call at any hour and blab/spew to someone who will listen, I'm your guy) please tell me.

Jamie - nfa

Jen,

Pat was a great guy. I don't hang around the firearms portion but he helped me get some Class 3 firearms a while back. Great man and he will definately be missed.

I am sorry for your loss.

Ben

I choked when I read that he's passed away. Like many, I don't know him, but his posts were always thoughtful, and he had both presence and knowledge that made his threads and posts a must read.

I will fire off my Beretta as soon as I can for him. I still remember he was one of the first people to congratulate me on that purchase as it was my first handgun...

I will miss seeing his crazy icon too.
