almost posted this in OT...

I can't help but wonder if wearing a ghillie suit would have some sort of benefit in the ZPAW. sitting motionless in the right ground cover, you can nearly disappear. I doubt you'd make it far on the move, but who knows? would they fall for it?
I can't for the life of me come up with an advantage that's worth dragging the damn thing around with you, this is more of a random inkling. although, chilling out undetected in a large group of zombies would be rather thrilling.

i can't imagine they would fall for it.
who know how Z's find you, is it only noise, smell, heat, sight, electrical like fish and sharks?? or a combination.
if it turns out Z's only catch you by sound, then the suit won't matter, but if its a sight thing (the max brooks zombies, go blind don't they? as they don't blink and their eyes and corneas get all scratched up.. leading me to think they are a cloudy view of light dark and motion based vision) so maybe-
but largely i'd leave it any where unless you need it to protect against living people and a lookout is what you need.

I would say it is a bad idea. Ghillie Suits are amazingly hot not to mention bulky. You are gonna have to heft that thing around. Using it for observing people coming into your AO is one thing but as a standard piece of Anti-Zed gear I would say no.

If they seek by sight, you're cool.

If they seek by sound, they heard you breathe.

If they seek by smell, they were onto your sweaty self miles ago.

If they seek by life-sense, camo is pointless.

Not worth it.

I hand made my ghillie suit and I've used it on a few occasions but when it comes to zombies fuck that, it's all about the run and gun plus to quote the movie The Hurt Locker if I'm gonna die I wanna die comfortable. So yeah sweating ass your ass off wearing something unnecessary and then being eaten in it doesn't seem like fun.

could be useful, later in paw. not against zeds because they are drawn by smell, and may accidently bump into you.

I think the most effective use of a ghille would be 1) caching a pack/gear and 2) concealment agaisnt hostile forces. I doubt it'd be effective against zombies, but for the two uses above it could potentially be very useful. As long as you can find your stuff after you cache it
