Is this your first BP revolver, or just for fun? If you're just starting, you could actually do a lot better with a pre-built (depending on the kit, timing the cylinder is a particular pain in the...neck.)
The stainless Remingtons are quite popular, and you can even convert them to cartridge later. I myself love my 1851 Navy's, though they are, to be honest, largely toys. As such, I put up with odd things that would normally not work in a gun, such as having to aim ten inches low at 25 yards. Remingtons are better shooters, Colts are great fun.
