I have direct contact with people in ATL.

They are concerned but one thing to remember Atlanta is a region of several counties and several incorporated cities & towns. Many of which have their own PDs.

If we couldn't discuss illegal activity we couldn't discuss home invasions, muggings, or most kinds of civil unrest. What the rule says is

1.) No discussion of illegal activities as a viable option.

Talking about other peoples illegal activities (but not condoning) is probably the bulk of what we do here.

A discussion of preparations to deal with illegal acts is normally a permissible discussion. It is the promotion of illegal acts that is proscribed.
