DYI camping tarps

Post by CoffeeGuy » Wed Sep 05, 2012 10:23 pm

Stumbled onto these Do-It-Yourself camping tarp designs. I might give the winter tarp design. It might not get that cold here but is sure gets wet.

Anyone try anything like these? The weight is going to be minimal.

I'm not yet ready to sew a tarp, but I am going to try taping together a Tyvek bivy sack. Check out the MYOG, Make Your Own Gear forum at backpacking light .com
