http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_pistonI'm a big fan of these. One went up on Kickstarter last year that looks good, comes with some Ferrocerium rods that slide into notches in the body. Hoping they ship out soon, the guy had a heck of a time getting a manufacturer to make them to the right specs. I think there's a thread about it here somewhere.

Neat project, I've always viewed fire pistons as overpriced pieces of kit, but I will definitely keep an eye out for some acrylic to try this one myself.
