River Monsters Rod/Reel Combo from Wal-Mart Review

Postby drifts14x » Wed Jul 18, 2012 8:27 am

So, the wife and I are picking up some ammunition for our shooting competition at Wally world and she spys a "River Monsters" rod and reel setup.

She says "wouldn't this be great for the BoB?" (All smiles and cheers).

I was needless to say, not convinced.

Last night, we went fishing with this rod and reel, and surprisingly, it was nice!

The casting was smooth, it breaks down into two pieces, so it's not very big (maybe 3' per section) and overall, it worked well enough, because she was catching bass and brim with it.

If you're looking for a sub- $20 fishing setup, you would not be wasting money to pick one of these up.

Guns may be useful in a Zombie Apocalypse, but nothing is a match for:

Attack Chihuahuas- God help you if I loose the attack chihuahuas...
