TO ALL AUSSIES!! - Survival Field Manual for Australia?

Basically I am interested to know if any such book exists like/similar-to the 'U.S. Army Survival Manual FM 21-76' but specifically for the oz outback regarding local vegetation, animals etc...

Does anyone know?

Yeah, our safety briefing before jumping in back in early '01 consisted of two sentences, "Stay on the fucking paths. There isn't a single animal on this forsaken chunk of earth that won't kick your ass."

yeah thats fairly accurate if it isnt poisonous it will chase you down and either bite you gore you or kick the life out of you ;)
