Tear and pull us down
Doors and windows boarded shut
But the pressure was too much

Man in Black,

The small black pouch is a sewing kit; mfg is Raine @ http://www.raineinc.com I had purchased this from clothing and sales. Included in the pouch is folding scissors, three spools of thread (black, tan, white), buttons, needles, safety pins, and regular pins.

Thank you.

Murphnuge,

You have a keen eye; yes that is a TOPS Xc EST. I do not know how you feel about TOPS, but I love their quality, durability, and overall sexiness.

Thank you.

Alright, I got the ARES TAG suspenders and padded belt. In a word comfy. Very well built.

I'm comfortable with this set up because when I was in the Air Force I used ALICE belts and suspenders. It feels very familiar.

So far I put an ACU double mag pouch and a ALICE 3 mag box pouch. I put an ACU medi utility box pouch around at the 4 o clock. I put a ALICE butt pack at 6. I also put a ALICE field dressing at 330.

I'm going to phase the ALICE stuff out, polly within the next two weeks. It's just so flappy when I move.

I need to figure a way out to put my Kbar on there, get a hydration pack and get 2 quart containers. I haven't filled any of the pouches yet because I only had time to set it up. I was at VBS all week.

From 1 to 3 is still wide open on the right, the suspender shoulders are still open and 1 on the left is still open. I think I'll fill the right with pistol kit.

I figured something out, most of these chest rigs and these suspenders dig into my neck. For the longest I couldn't figure out why and put a towel around my neck. Last night it struck me, I have a 20" neck so normal stuff doesn't fit me. I have to buy big and tall shirts so I can wear a tie but I'm 5'11" and the shirt hangs down to my mid thighs. Realization, I had one.

Yes, I'll post pics this weekend.

Thanks, honestly I have no feelings towards TOPS because it's one of the view names in knives that I've never dealt with. They have some very unique and yes, even "sexy" styles that I've been eyeing for awhile, but so far no experience on my end with them. Good to hear a positive comment in their favor.

does anyone know of a good molle pouch to hold a couple silcock keys? I'm gonna grab a belt from emdom pretty soon here, and run with that but I need to start figuring out silcock keys and such ahead of time because they're pretty important to my current load out.

I wont defend or attack the use of them. I have one, I intend to carry it on my WB rig. I just need a little pouch to carry exclusively the silcock key. I dont need a huge pouch to carry a bunch of crap in.

But if you have a BIG pouch, you could carry like 6 of them at once.

And throw them behind you like caltrops when you're chased by Texans.

On-Topic: I'm looking to set up a belt. Anyone have a belt they dont like that would fit a 36" waist that they're willing to part with?

Yeah, thats the one Dave is using now. It looks nice but I'm not entirely sold on the concept to want to tie up $120 in it after buying a cobra belt just yet.

Anyone have an opinion on hte Eagle belt?

I run a London bridge belt. You saw it at millcop. It's the belt that eagle copies.
I like it, I'm running blueforce gear tenspeeds for pistol mag pouches now, I ran the serpa a little higher at VTAC 1.5 last week, It worked well there. The entire system is modular as I have a m9 faceplate for the serpa, which is really the only reason I still run it (It's what we rock in my BN) I'm sorry. I'm not sorry I run a serpa. I'm sorry I like it.

I just run the holster on a dropleg and the tenspeed pistol pouches = it works with a waist belt on a ruck. My assumption is if I'm rocking my tactical belt I'm running my plate carrier, all the akward pouches that blocked the waistbelt on the ruck are now on the plate carrier.

Anyway, the LBT one is 40$? I'll find you a link. The LBT/EAGLE incest thing is crazy. LBT is a very small shop, some of their stuff they farm off to eagle, some of it they make for eagle and vice versa. (Found the link!)

I personally believe that is merely because of their location. Similarly, you see a lot of HSGI stuff on LeJeune Marines.

Somewhat on topic-ish, yes, you do see a lot of what's available (or was) years ago depending on location. TAG is bigger in Pendleton and HSGI is bigger in Lejeune, just like Blackhawk back in the day in Norfolk etc. Bias aside (I've been buying from HSGI since before they were even called HSGI) they do make badass gear.

Hopefully you moved somewhere thats not in the fuckin desert, and people dont shoot other people for getting a gallon of water when they're dying of thirst.

If thats the case, send me your postal address and I'll send you a complimentary silcock key with a cobra-knotted dummycord to put it on your belt!
