AND THE WINNER IS . . . .

After serious consultation and examination of all of the entries, the judges {woodswalker and myself] have determined a winner.

First let me say that all of the entries were really good under difficult conditions. They all had great ideas and tricks to show folks that a workable BOB need not cost more than a used car.

You should all take pride in your entry, they will all help other people on a limited budget get started. Your work might even help save a life someday.

So thank you all!

Now . . .drum roll please.

In the “just too good to not get mentioned” category is the entry by xxxDarksidexxx. Great entry well thought out with lots of good tips and ideas for those on a limited budget.

And the winner of the Poorman's BOB contest [and all of the bragging rights attached thereto] is the entry by:

ForgeCorvus !

Despite camera problems and a last minute entry, this BOB seemed very reproducible and one anyone would be happy to have in a pinch.

Congratulation to ForgeCorvus and to all those who participated.

damn you ForgeCorvus with your late entry!

congrats on the win bro!!! :D if we were at a bar i would buy you a pint!

there were a lot of good entries in this competition. i had a couple favorites. it looks like maldon007 added some items to his, and if i read right is his first BOB he has built. good work bro! some others also got some ideas and made kits for their families, so i think the goal for the competition was achieved. :D

congrats to all who posted up a kit!

( now its time to get to work on that damn mag pouch PSK  )

Well, if it's best Englishman, maybe I still have a chance? I'm 3/8 English... (3/8 Scottish and 1/4 Italian as well)
