pressure cooker

I think that a small 6 quart pressure cooker would be a optimal. You could use it as a pot for cooking, they can be easily converted to a still so you can distill water and or alcohol in the pow, it can also be used for canning. i think a pressure cooker would be an excellent addition to someones bog.

My Grandmother always cooked Pinto Beans in a pressure cooker.
They were great.

While I agree a pressure cooker is great for cooking it shouldn't be used for canning. You can cook in a pressure canner but you shouldn't can in a pressure cooker. They are two different animals. Most cookers don't have the right kind of pressure gauge for canning.

I'd reccomend a bigger size that is actually a pressure canner. It's much more versitile." onclick=";return false;
