Yea, It doesn't say it's a factory second, or anything like that. I'm seriously debating this purchase.

One thing worries me... there is no mention of a frame. 7500 cu. in. without a frame sounds painful. But or $99, that's a hell of a day pack... and it comes in MARPAT. I may just have to get one for that reason alone.

I can't imagine it doesn't have a frame. 7800 cubes? It would have to.

as an aside their leg suspension system is also on clearance;
Summit Equipment™ Sidewinder Leg Pack System. . . was $299.99 now as Low As 49.99

I looked through the clearance page and while there was some interesting stuff, these were the things that stood out.

home depot has a set of husky light with 3 - 5 led lights and 2 headlamps with 2 white and a single red led for $15. It also comes with 15 aaa batteries which is what it takes to fill all the lights. The flashlights are not too bad. They have a waterproof looking aluminum case. No focus so the light spreads quickly but if you were traipsing through the woods it would work ok. The headlamps light is adjustable up and down as well. maybe a bit on the heavy side with 3 aaa batteries in it though. For $15 I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Corsair 8GB Flash Survivor USB 2.0 Drive for $29.42 at ProVantage. The cheapest ones on ebay are twice this price ($58.00 with shipping).

Extremely durable, water resistant to 200m, and drop-tested flash USB memory drive with a 10 year warranty. Corsair is also offering a $10.00 rebate on purchases from ProVantage now until November 30, 2008.

ProVantage seems to be a very straight up place to do business with, and doesn't rape their customers on shipping -- I ordered one of these yesterday and the shipping was only $4.95

TODAY ONLY (eta: Wed, 11/26/08):

Kelty Coyote Backpack - LE 4500 (For Women)
56% off, only $83.96
(regularly $150, Sierra Trading Post price $104.95, after 20% discount $83.96)

The EMS site has better pics of the suspension/back. Here's the EMS page for more specs/info. And the REI page for more specs/info.

Many people rave about the Kelty brand and the pack has good reviews. I'm personally passing on the deal because I want a pack with better back panel ventilation, but this is a good deal for anyone needing a BOB bag.

http://www.thinkgeek.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has a coupon code good until the end of the day, coupon code is zombieturkey and it will geive you $10 of $30 or more ordered. They have a camping and outdoor section and some multitools and the like that are pretty good prices. Not really an outdoor site, but I could spend $30 easy enough.

Again, only good today. Best price I have seen anywhere on the grilliput stove thing I have been looking at as a cool little camping item. Any sites have BF deals coming up in the next few days that anyone knows about? Good price on a Jetboil stove too, $59 after the coupon!

LA Police gear has the STOMP II medical pack in OD green for $200.00. The other colors are available for $250.00.

This is the cheapest that I have been able to find it. I should receive mine (black) on Tuesday.

got a couple of these at pier1 for $1

they're soaps distilled into little pieces of paper. 15 sheets in each one, it's smaller than a playing card and about as thick as 5 or so.

Image

should be enough to wash your junk :)

I also got a little tackle box at kmart for $5 for pills and stuff. It's about 4"x3"x1.5"

I got a crappy little gerber multi tool knockoff at home depot for $1.99. It's about the size of the keychain, and despite my description I could see it being useful for certain things.

and me and the girl bought tow chains for our respective vehicles at HD, $14.

and the requisite .223 ammo with my Dick's coupon. 6 boxes of shit ammo.
