Gamma lids for $11+ and free shipping if you do Amazon Prime (as I do)...

These are a neat way to turn ordinary 5-gallon buckets into airtight screw top containers...I have a bunch of them (and just ordered more)...I use them for pet food and rice and pasta and camping stuff out in my garage.

Edit to add: I bought a bunch of these this morning at $7.53 per, and then the price jumped...I might keep an eye on them and see if it drops again, although they're still a good deal at the current price.

I am sorry to derail this thread, but I just wanted to point this out... Zip closure is not to replace heat sealing. It is still recommended to heat seal those to work as intended. Zip closure is for the time when you break the heat seal, but want to keep it fresh during the days you consume the contents. Good idea nevertheless.

New Kodak Portable Solar/USB Battery Charger with 2 AA NiMH 2100 mAh Battereis $4.99 plus shipping.

A quick google shows mixed reviews but for around $10 it may be worth a try. I will be picking one up myself.

Just wanted to pass on that if you 'like' skdtac.com on Face book they will give you an extra 5 dollar off code to pair with that 10% discount. I didn't discover that until after I'd impulse purchased a vltor MUR...
Upon reading one of my posts you should assume that before I post I reread my posts twice and then often again after I post to check and recheck for spelling and grammatical errors. 511 company boots for $53 shipped after coupon(511tacsign) at 511's web store. May be only certain sizes but I picked up a pair of 10.5 wide at that price.

With composite safety toes
http://www.511tactical.com/All-Products ... y-toe.html

without
http://www.511tactical.com/All-Products ... -Boot.html

FYI reviews state that they run a little narrow, so you might want to get them wide even if you don't typically wear a wide shoe.

Hi Charlie_Kilo,

As you mention about how they run a little narrow.

I have also read that 5.11 Tacical boots also run a "little small" also... That I know is true for their ATAC 8 boot first hand.

I went to Galls in Lex, Ky. to try on a pair of the 5.11 Men's ATAC 8 inch (8" high) Side Zipper Boots... I was set in my mind I wanted these boots, but I wanted to make sure they fit fist, because what I have read about size running smaller...

I wear a size 12" shoe/boot (unless steel toe then 13"). The 5.11's ATAC 8 SZ boot size 12" was too small, but their 13" fit fine (no steal toe). I also tried on a pair of Bates and Magnum 12" boots and they fit fine. After putting on one of the 5.11's ATAC 8 boots on right foot and the Magnum Stealth Force 8 ZS on my left foot and looking in a mirror, I chose the Magnum's. The reason was the the size of the 5.11's next to the Magnum's. With the 5.11's it looked like I was wearing Frankenstein's boots compared the the Magnum's that looked normal...

I just wanted to pass this info on to others, because I know it "sucks" when you lose money when you try to return certain items because of shipping or restocking fees.

30% off all WIGGY'S Sleeping Bags.

Get prepared for the winter weather guys, 30% off Wiggy's bags is a killer deal for some of the best quality Made in USA sleeping bags ever.

IIRC, look into Wood's Walker's threads for a review of one of the Wiggy's bags. Searching should also lead to some great reviews on here; their only downside is that they can be a tad bulkier than some down bags, but I think that the trade-off is totally worth it.

Want to post a working link please? I'd like to check it out.

Edit:

I googled the deal and it's at the Wiggy's home page. All sleeping bags are 30% off as stated above. You see the discount after adding a bag to your shopping cart.

WalMart in Kokomo, IN has SOG Fusion Tactical Tomahawks for $20. When I looked earlier the website was listing them for just under $40. The SOG website is listing them for $64.25.

I know there's a general post for all deals, but I wanted to create a temporary one for turkey day specials that have specific bug-out association.
