Wyominglostandfound out of business/ still active?

Post by Skull_Hide » Thu Feb 28, 2013 11:28 am

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you know if Wyominglostandfound is still running? I've tried contacting them for about a week and can't get any response from them. I'm trying to order the current deal on the home page of the tarp tipi with stove jack for $150. Does any one know anything or have the owners number?

He used to sell things on ebay, might check that out. I'd say if he's listing there he's still in business.

Do a search on this site for Wyominglostandfound and draw your own conclusions.

Wyominglostandfound is a member on ZS. You could always try PMing him. Although I'd figure he'd respond to his site e-mail before his ZS PMs.

I tried emailing them from their site, the contact me box and direct email for a few days them tried PM on ZS and I got nothing. The ZS pm still says it unopened so now I'm trying this. Also I did not find them on Ebay, but that have been me not looking hard enough, but still.

Something is clearly wrong. To the best of my knowledge he didn't sent out the prize for the last MBO. He did in the past so there must be some reason for this. Also read reports of people not getting products or communication. I have no idea what the problem is.

ETA - I checked the local Obits back to early Dec, Brian isn't listed, so he's not passed away.

Well I called the number and pretty much got the wrong number/ invalid number message. So the quest continues. I'm going to try Facebooking them and PM on there.

From what you just said, it sounds like he's backed up until further notice. Too bad he hasn't made an official announcement to keep people from guessing.

Bump, I email them last night. I figured why not. Guess this, I got a reply and to sum it up I order the tarp tipi deal. Very happy I'll be getting my tipi.

How odd!

WL&F responds to advertise new stoves and tents, but omits any explanation or apologies regarding the problems mentioned in this thread!

Before sending off your money, let me reiterate that I did, then spent a month trying to get them to answer me her, via email, via their website, via facebook... Then another 3 weeks waiting for PayPal to get my money back. That's 7 full weeks this vendor could have talked to me... A simple apology and an "I'm busy/sick/sawed off me arm/ would have gone a long way.

Not saying his stuff is bad, or he is bad, or... Just that communication is non-existent.

For a one-man garage operation, not unusual. Be happy that you didn't buy critical software from just such an operation (don't ask).

I know that one Tac... Everything the scientists I support is an esoteric GNU licensed 1 man operation...

I'm hoping to see elf make a comeback as I wanted one of his tents... If I see some good feedback I might try again.

Life is full of challenge
I am a one man operation by choice
Dealing with life and trying to run a business with no one else to assist
Is not easy
I fixed the problems and now it is back to building which I love to do
New projects and custom work make me happy and motivate me
To get things done
Sorry if I caused any inconvenience to any of you
You will see some neat stuff here soon God willing
