This movie's ok, but my only real problem with this movie is that the "zombies" have a tendency to occasionally break out into song and dance, that and the damn singing redneck that kept racapping what happened every other scene...
Other than that I thought it was a decent movie...

Spoilers

I just watched this film finally and I have to say it is one of the best low budget zombie comedies I have seen.

One problem though is all the comparisons one sees between this and Shaun.

Now while I liked the film it is no where near SOTD and there is one glaring difference. The Zombies in SOTD are not funny per-se, in fact they are your typical hungry angry Romero undead who tear people limb from limb, it is the humans who are funny.

Now in DAB the zombies are a big part of the humor even going so far as to have there own song and dance numbers and there own band.

The Hall of Records lady is a great charcter who is obviously prepared for the PAW, but a little to dedicated.

The home made shotguns are a nice touch in the movie also.

Could you make a Zip Shot gun? I would say yes.

I would really strongly suggest never doing it unless you are looking for a Darwin Award.

I just saw it, I loved it. Funny, gory, and it had an attractive woman (wasn't that David Carradine's daughter?) that knew how to make an improvised shotgun.

Two thumbs up.

Its not a "zombie movie". They kept repeating that the people were not zombies just "possesed". However I was a little disapointed with it. I thought SOTD was awsome, this movie just didn't make the grade with me.

I just bought it and loved it.

By far the funniest movie I have seen in years. The zombie line dance had me in tears.

It takes the top spot in my meager collection of films.

5 ventriloquist heads out of 5.

Ever Carradine is David Carradine's niece I think. Hmmm. Searching. Ahh IMDB to the rescue.

Cheers

Please keep discussion of home-made firearms off the boards. You'll give kyle a case of the vapors.
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own...

Definitely in my top ten zombie movies.
