Then why was he using that hand to hold his revolver and the food bag?

There was actually a set of golf clubs in the hall way when her ran out of bullets. I expected him to realize that he was going to get in trouble for coming home without a shoe, get the golf club and take his shoe back.
Yeah, saw that. Was thinking the same thing.

Plus what happened to that sharpened stake/garden path light he had in his hand?

Did Carl run at the door before testing if it was open?

I thought the same thing, first try the friggin nob. Not to mention that door had those nice little side decorative windows. Not too hard to break and reach through to unlock the door if you wanted. Much easier than trying to shoulder a door open when your a kid.

This is where honesty gets you. Funnily, I enjoyed this so much, I did the X-men version and rated Collosus. Apparently, I have a need to protect those I love.

I think the whole purpose of seeing Carl flattened by the door was to remind us, and him, that he's still a little kid in a very big world.

Yeah I think just about everything Carl did while Rick was in his coma served this purpose.

From backpedaling into a walker, to throwing himself at a door, to losing his shoe and almost his ass to a single walker, to eating a giant can of pudding. All of this served a purpose to remind Carl 9and the viewer) that he's not some badass zombie slayer, but just a kid.

Never ask a man where he's from. If he's from Texas, he'll tell you soon enough. If he ain't, don't embarrass him.

It was a black baby shoe I think.

Don't know if it belonged to the baby from the prison or if it just reminded that girl of the baby.

Edit : Well that explains that.

Favorite Zombie Movies: so far zombieland because i think it accuratly depicts what a zombie could be like. not a dead becoming undead, but an infected human... kinda like a dog with raibies. even tho signs of other survivors were non existant in the movie except for the 4 main characters and bill murray...

As they brought up in Talking Dead, would you trust a sign saying "this way to safe sanctuary" and did the guy saying "follow the tracks there is a safe place off the tracks" even ever know anything other than what a sign told him? Had he actually been there or was he heading there after seeing a similar sign as the group saw.

I would be pretty careful about any "safe" place after what happened with the farm, Woodbury, and the Prison. The bigger danger in ZPAW is other people not the zombies.

So a place claiming to be safe just seems a bit fishy to me.

However, I would still likely try to find it. I would at least try and get some idea of what it is and if it could be good or a danger.

Being that this is a TV drama, it will no doubt end up bad, but.....

In real life, not everybody is going to be a psychopathic asshole.
One problem I have with apocalyptic shows is that they rely totally on scavenging. At some point, you have to develop a community and start making stuff.

There is a reason humans turned from the hunter/gatherer lifestyle to one of community, mutual defense, animal husbandry and agriculture. It just makes staying alive much easier when you have all you need in one place.
History is rarely made by well-behaved individuals.
