I had a dream (well, if you must know, a nightmare) last night. The first three episodes of TWD: Season 3 were aired and they were horrible; just horrible. Carl gets kidnapped and it's three episodes of Rick negotiating with the other group for his release. It was just talking....and talking.....and talking. No drama, no tension, it was clear from the end of the first episode it was just a matter of working out how many guns Rick had to give up in order to get his miserable whelp of an offspring back.

The fans were in a uproar, ratings plummeted and the producers put the remaining ten episodes on hiatus while they tried to figure out what they were doing wrong. I don't think you even saw any zombies in any of the episodes.

No shooting, no fighting, no blood, guts or undead. No death, no drama, not even anyone screwing someone behind someone else's back. I'm telling you, it was a nightmare, people. Somebody hold me and tell me it's going to be all right.... :gonk:

I think I would go insane watching it if it actually did happen, "It was just talking....and talking....." :gonk:

I'm not gonna hold you. But I remain confident that, as long Kirkman has any amount of influence, that will not happen.

Now if Daryl died, I'd be pissed

I had a dream.....*snip*

The thing I'm wondering about.....How the heck are they going to get Andrea (and Michonne) back with the rest of the group? Seems like that's going to have to be a whole separate story line that lasts several episodes, at least.

Maybe Lori will die in the process. That would make a multi-episode arc like that well worth it.

"Darker, harder, faster, deeper".....That's how Andrew Lincoln is describing season 3. I may have nightmares myself from that description !!!

I know it's the way he actually talks but it's so weird to see Rick speaking with a brit accent.

Not for me it's not, I was watching him almost 20 years ago in a popular drama he starred in about law graduates called 'This Life'
I find it strange hearing him speak on TWD

This is the first thing I've ever seen him in so I think of him as an American even though I know he's not. I don't have the same problem with Charlie Hunnam in sons of anarchy or Hugh Laurie in House because the first things I saw them in they were talking normal.

Wow! T-Dawg said more during that season-3 sneak-peak than he did all of season 1 and 2 combined! Of course there was no footage, so we may still get a repeat. Is it just me, or does any one else wnna see T-dawg just go all bad ass an start getting more camera time?

Honestly I think is would be pretty bad ass if they did an entire episode with T-Dawg as lead character, Give him all the big lines follow him around and have everyone else as support to his dialogue and action. Sadly I doubt that is gong to happen. I really think they could do some cool stuff with taking each character individually and tell the story from their POV for one episode. Of course this is more a 1st season sort of plot device, a way for us to get to know and invest in each character. Doubtful they would pull such a device out in the 3rd season.

I like this idea too. Maybe have it be a day in the life of the group as seen through T-dawg's eyes; with one or two major plot developments to move the story arc forward. Offer some insight on how he sees all the characters we've all formed opinions of. Maybe he thinks Rick is an overbearing asshole, Carl is a little psychopath in the making, Daryl a self absorbed prick and he finds Andrea is so incredibly hot that he doesn't know what to say around her.

Oh, and that he's seething with resentment because he's a trained combat surgeon with advanced degrees in epidemiology, horticulture and mechanical engineering, but no one bothered to ask because they all just assumed he's capable of nothing more useful than hauling cadevers to the burn pile.

Heck, I was watching some of the Band of Brothers marathon on Spike this last weekend.....And it dawned on me that half the actors playing those American paratroopers were British.

Stephen Moyer is British and Ryan Kwanten is Australian. Listening to Kwanten talk is the more amusing of the two.

I am guessing season three is going to be a train wreck. A major cast change, dropping the producer and network sponsor animosity are going to sink it. I think what A&E is banking on is that fans of Zombie films watch them no matter how bad they are.
