If it is CGI.......Then "kudos" to them for at least having it angling upwards, like the muzzle blast from an AK-type rifle with a slant brake would. :ooh:

I don't know, but it's unreal that you get a huge muzzle flash every single shot. My guns make like 1 / 50 shots. And what's up with the crazy amount of sparks on the concrete?

Don't get me wrong, I think the show does well with the effects, just not in this last episode. :)

The "crazy amount of sparks on concrete" is usually a paintball gun firing plastic pellets filled with a type of flash powder......In this case, being able to easily see the locations of the "boolit impacts" helped the viewers realize that the Termite shooters weren't actually trying to hit Rick & Co., but were using gunfire to "herd" them to a certain location.

That aim..... I can't help but notice sometimes how off the aim is on movies and shows.

A movie squib can injure. Ask Brandon. It is a safer practice not to point directly at your stars.

And besides, the Termites weren't trying to hit them. They were shooting in front of and beside them, to "herd" them towards the meat locker....err.....boxcar.

"First Look" at Season 5.

Image

My take: Rick has just opened up a keg of whoopass on a Termite in the boxcar and is checking outside to see if the coast is clear.
Mostly not here anymore.

Are the zombies evolving? I think the Terminus walkers are using folding chairs......WWF style!
