While originally I was kind of ho-hum about another Superman movie, and the fact they got an English guy to play Superman, I got to admit the movie does look damn good. Superman II was my favorite of the Christopher Reeves movies. Also having the new General Zod played by Michael Shannon from Boradwalk Empire, is freakin' epic.

Mrs. Blacksmith demanded a movie date for this one as soon as she the trailer a couple of months ago.

Question?

How does the big guy shave? Are not his whiskers super duper too? Kryptonite razor?

I think the only thing I've seen Cavill in was The Tudors......But the rest of the cast looks pretty solid.

One of the old superman comics i had showed him using his heatray vision and a mirror to burn them off.

I suppose he could also use a couple of I-beams to tweeze them out.
