Nice add, really liked how I learned the background & didn't really feel like you were giving me background :wink:

I went to sleep last night after checking this thread, no MOAR was here, then I wake up & there's MOAR! I am now properly motivated to finish the chapter I've been writing for a week :D

Thanks, folks. I also decided not to fill in too much, just in case I wanted to write a prequel. I wanted james to tell the story in a slightly haphazard way, jumping forward and back in time as different events came to mind. I wanted the conversation to drive his narrative and not the other way around.

Next we'll hear Cindy's acount and then we'll jump over to join Rob in the next chapter.

It's meant to denote a detective revolver designed for a Pinkerton agent. Iver Johnson made some, and I think some other manufacturers. I knew a guy whose dad was a Pinkerton agent and he had his dad's 9-shot .22 lr revolver. Sirhan Sirhan killed Bobby Kennedy with a similar model.
