Love what you had up here so far, and glad to hear you were paid for it. Congratulations. Be sure and let us know what happens. I'd really like to see this.

Good luck!

Well guys, it's being made into a film, got a little teaser of me talking about it, I'd love to get all your support on this, we're working very hard on it, and I promise it will follow this storyline very closely, obviously adjusted a bit for time and such, but having your support on this would mean the world, plus, hey, if you do support it enough, depending on your donation, you can come hang out with me, and we can talk about it over some drinks and karaoke!

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I have suspicions that you had no intention of delivering the whole story in this thread.

I'm out.

I was correct

LOL, well sorry Wee, it's not my fault, how was I to know that I'd have people want to make a film out of it? :( I'm sorry! If it gets made though, it'll be a series, and you can watch it for free every week!

LOL! I suspect, as I posted weeks ago, that you already knew that you had a deal before you wrote your first post. If not then my apologies & sincere congratulations.
If so then why could you just not be honest from the get go? That's what it looks like to me & that what is annoying me. I really liked your story!

Truly had no idea it was going to full length, they just wanted to run a treatment and see how it would look. So what I told you was truth, I had no idea until very recently! Sorry Wee, truly!

So what ended up happening? I saw on that kickstarter link that the funding was canceled.

Congrats on the film deal.
You will find that writing the screen play will be exhausting and you will need to stand up for the core ideas you want in the film.
Don't let the producer/director override your keen sense of what you want to portray in the film.
Document everything and lawyer up with a reputable industry attorney.
You may end up paying her or him some point/shares in the flick but it is worth it.

I have enjoyed your story and I would suggest that you detail out the scenes, costumes, background information. Maybe make Dale a major character and the mayor can be made very ugly/evil just by his accent/tone of voice and clothing.

His office can have a logistics area with mapping, data walls on numbers killed, infected, safe.

Good luck in your endeavor.
