There is a lot that is going on in the background that isn't written. There is concern, but the kids haven't had to connect flu -> death -> zombies yet. As far as the kids are concerned, minus Mary, Sarah is just sick.

Reading this got me thinking:
Is Mark wondering how a Ranger managed to get captured and kept as a sex slave by a couple of drunken hilljacks?
Mark didn’t know what to say. Some of her story made sense, but some of it sounded slightly fabricated. He didn’t press the issue as the car rumbled down the road.

FYI, I am going to be publishing my book so I can't have a freeware version floating around. This last chapter will be the last update for the story. Sorry folks. I will leave these chapters up until the end of the week at 2000 UTC on 13 July, 2012. That is Friday, noon PDT. Read to your hearts content, but the story, except for the last two chapters, has been deleted. I hope you like the story and I hope you pick up a copy from the kindle store once I finally get the story done and published.
