After A LONNNNNG Absence, I was happy to come back to see MOAR. I have actually started reading the story from the beginning AGAIN and making the different things there are recipes for, my husband and roommate are curious as to what all the new dishes are and where I am getting them. No complaints though! I am taking a class about environmental awareness i guess you would call it, "Man's Dependence on the Environment" I have actually referenced this site and this story on several occasions. I have missed everyone!

I do believe this has become a 'cult' following.

Must add that I am proud to be a member. This story will no doubt go down in Zompocalypse history. Maybe even a movie some day. For sure a tv series. Surely someone out there is looking for an answer to "walking dead" for network tv :D

You are right it will or should go down in The History Of Zack and would be a killer movie or series. After all, I think there won't be much competition "walking dead"is about dead.Started out good but after getting to the farm it is just getting to ridiculous how they are and aren't doing what they need to.

Have to say this is outstanding. I started reading this yesterday morning (March 20th lol) on page 1 while I was waiting for SWTOR servers to come back online and I still haven't gotten back to playing it or really doing much of anything else. I hope there are plenty more entries.

It'd be nice to be able to have this in one file.

People say they have it in a single file, but, as far as I know, no one has linked to said file on a sharing website.

I agree, though, that it really would be nice. I have a relative that would read this on a Kindle if it was accessible.

Because we do not have Mother Hens permission to put it on a site like that.

If you PM some of those members with a polite request & an email address they may send their copy to you.

Ah, ok. Thanks.

Here is the link to Mom's Journal Of The Zombie Years on her other site. It might make for easier reading because it is only the story and you don't have the extra inbetween posts between chapters. It is loaded to Day 212. Someone would need to come back to this thread to find Day 213 because the story goes past December December Year 2 and up to Sissy got wounded and all. But still, it might be an easier read up to that point. Day 213 starts on this thread's page 134. Hope this helps.

Kathy,

I started reading this about 2 weeks ago and I had to stop myself to sleep and eat. I am one of those gun loving, survivalist types and some of the parts that are more emotional made me tear up. I typically don't do that. That being said, I can hardly wait for the next instalment. I don't want to be like some of the "moar" people, but I really can't hardly wait. Thank you for writing an emotion stirring tale that people can acctually see happening if they use the imagination that God gave them.
