They now live in a world where you do not simply have to be worried about being eaten. You have the possibility of being partially eaten and then going through the whole infection process while being cognizant of what is happening? That's just worse on a whole different level.
Thank you, Kathy.

Re: Mom's Journal of the Zombie Years
Ah ha! I finally caught up to realtime, it took me 4 work days and a weekend to do it.
Unfortunately now I have to wait for the next installments and that means I'll be joining the ranks of the MOAR zombies...
Excellent story! In spite of your desire to not get paid for your writing - I really do urge you to pursue commercial publication, as a 44 year old lifetime voracious reader who has tried to read some really horrid novels that got published in spite of all common sense - I think your novels would be immensely popular. Not Harry Potter popular - but close!
It'd certianly help your family finances and you wouldnt have to work quite so hard (and allow you more time to write your stories
) Try contacting Baen books and see what happens.
Really, you've already written the first novel of the series - "Year One" and now you're writing the second volume.
Also, maybe you could set up a donation box via paypal? I did that for a group buy on another forum and it worked really well, people can donate as much or as little as they want.
Thank you very much for the stories so far and......

Heh, I've wanted to post this for a while
