New Hampshire State.
Military & Police (M&P) pistols chambered in .45 ACP to be issued to officers in the New Hampshire State Police and Highway Patrol divisions. The Smith & Wesson M&P45 pistols will replace competitive duty weapons currently used by the agency.

Illinois State Police - Glock 22, previously issued S&W 39. They made the switch sometime in the late 90's.

Dunno if anyone is still updating this, but the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department issues Beretta 92D pistols. The Saint Louis City Marshals also carry Beretta 92D pistols. I know a few of the smaller localities carry various other things, but I'm not sure this list is interested in that.

Department of Public Safety = State Troopers

Pardons and Paroles = Probation Officers.

I have seen a couple of probation officers carry guns other than Glocks but the G22 is standard issue. Most of the probation officers worked as LEO's elsewhere first and carry whatever they are comfortable with and can get away with.

New Mexico State Police issues the M&P in .357 Sig. They used the Glock 22 in .40 S&W previously.

Albuquerque uses the M&P 9. Formerly they issued the Glock 17. 1911s are no longer authorized for Albuquerque PD in light of recent excessive force suits.

NYPD got rid of Berettas pre-millenium.
Sig P226 is probably the other one.
I heard storys claiming the M9 can have multiple malfunctions in harsh conditions. And therefore the army is searching for a new service sidearm. Is this true? Are there any known issues with the Beretta M9?

Any firearm can fail under certain conditions. Yes, the Army is looking for a new pea shooter. I can think of a bunch of issues with the M9 but reliability is not one of them. Probably a better discussion in one of the threads already discussing this.

Jefferson Parish, La Glock 17 (approximately 1100 sworn)
Kenner PD, La S&W M&P 40 approximately (200-300 sworn)
Louisiana State Police some still have SIG P220, but most running Glock 17s
NOPD, La already stated Glock 22/ 23
Westwego PD, La Glock 22/ 23 (30ish sworn)
Gretna PD, La Glock 21 (50ish sworn)
Most neighboring parishes (St Charles, St John, Orleans Parish (not NOPD), etc do the "approved list thing"
Houma PD, S&W M&P 40 (50-100 sworn)
Might think of more tomorrow
