Makarov, we've been friends for a long time now, tell you what, you send me the money, I'll keep the rifle in my safe for you and let you know how it's doing from time to time. Then, when you come to the US, you'll have a rifle waiting for you.

I'll give em til Wednesday. It's been 16 business days, and like I said, they shipped out the second order already. Payment went through day of order. :?

Buy the rifle and sell him the upper and optic and a different lower already in your possession if he and you are residents of the same state.

Thank you RickOShea. I was wondering if I was the only person who was under the impression that Makarov was a citizen of Norway.

LMS: 16 business days? That is officially outrageous. I'd take RG up on his offer to check your order for you. PSA fanboy or not, I think that's too long.

Ahh, missed that. The other way to do it is Doc buys it and ships it to an FFl for Makarov to pick up provided Makarov is a U.S. citizen at the time. I don't know the particulars of Makarov's residency, only his supposed location via the location tag.

And I don't, but when I see the prices of AR's I sometimes wish I did. And Doc's offer ain't that iffy. If you knew how much we have to pay for a plainjane DPMS over here you'd choke...

No, we are not. *saddness* But I like to think that if he should come to the US, he'd make a trip to SC or at least give me a call! LOL.

And if I were to go to Norway, I'd do the same. I think it'd be easier for me to look him up; I don't think Norway is all that big....

I know you were at joking when you posted that but don't think for a second that this very same plan hasn't crossed my mind more than once especially what with the Australian dollar being above parity with the greenback and all.

The expensive part would be the vacations to visit "my" rifle. And of course I'd probably need some training with it during those vacations.

I could happily deal with you sending me pics of you using and abusing it but would probably be weirded out a little if those pics were nsfw.

TGC; I'd do that for you too, even the NSFW if you wanted! :ohdear:

Longer, maybe, population, not by much; South Carolina 2011 census 4.6 mil.

I think my point was if you were coming to the US, SC would not be the first choice to fly into and visit, Norway on the other hand, has less choices.

Well, the PSA Patrol Carbine is admittedly a very sexy beast (especially at $1100 US inc mags) and you are a handsome man (even though I was kinda hoping for nuns or cheerleaders).

I was interested in the plain vanilla PSA M4 upper sans bcg and chging handle for $269.99, otherwise might get the one with the Vortex Strikefire and the MBUS for $420 Assuming I can sell the optic on fleabay for $150, that is like getting the rear sight free, right?

Today I finally got my M4 upper I ordered 50 days ago. It seems excellent though and the price can't be beat, it was $285 with shipping.

So these are still on sell, just ordered the 16" upper 285 w/ shipping. Now I just have to decide what type of lower I want... Any suggestions?
