Am I the only one interesting in converting a SR22 into .22 WMR?

Wouldn't it be easier to convert a .22 magnum 10/22 into something more tactikewl?

I am finished!
I received the rail. It's a Picatinny 20 MOA rail that replaced stock Weaver rail.
It took me quite some time to make it fit right. But the hack saw and Dremel did the job.
It is perfectly flush with Tech-Sights now.

I had to flip the Burris PEPR mount in order to acquire proper eye relieve. I also need to get a cheek weld as the PEPR makes the scope sit high. However, you need it high to clear the irons.

When I came to the range I expected it to be a PIA to sight it in. To my surprise all three rounds I fired hit about an inch and a half to the right of the bull's eye. One correction, and it was shooting beautifully at 100 yards. At the end it was all worth it!

Eye Relief on Vortex Crossfire 4-12x40 AO is 3-3.3 inches.

Tech-Sights are great! You will not be disappointed. In all honesty, I don't even need the scope with Tech-Sights. My groups are very tight at 100 yards with irons alone. Even at 200 yards it performs fairly well.
