I have no experience but other than the looks I have to ask why? I mean the one thing the SKS has going for it is reliability so why would you mess that up with those duckbill Mags?.

Been asking "why" myself.
Thoughts:
1) Your SKS is hunting legal, but you want to dress it up and make it more "tacticool."
2) You live in a ban state and want your ban legal rifle to be more tacticool.
I would not do anything to an SKS other than mounting a 20 rnd mag, a flash hider, and maybe optics. But that is me.

That is why I asked. There's plenty of laminated wood, plastic, traditional wood stocks. But this is the first all aluminum stock for an sks I've seen. So how does a aluminum bedded sks shoot? Better? Worse? No 'difrance ? How's the machining on these? Has anybody tried and tinkered? I'm the opposite of tacticool, but if it were to tighten groups ,plus stay more stable in any weather condition , then call me Johnny duckbill Rambo and one of the safe queens gets a new crown.

That thing just screams "I SHOOT TANNERITE IN LAWN MOWERS!!!"
I'm also a hypocrite...to a small degree. My SKS has a 17'' home-job cut n' crowned barrel, tech sights, and Prince-50 front sight.

With even Yugo's heading north of $350, that puts any build with this thing squarely in the price range of an AK or an AR. And for all of that it still doesn't fix the greatest limitation of the SKS.
It may be very well made, I still don't see the point.

I have a Sabertooth stock on my SKS it's a 68 Yugo it was total junk when I got it. So I figured I would make it more Tactical you do not mess up the reliability at all none whatsoever. And its different. And with a bi-pod and 75 round drum with a pistol scope mounted toward the middle of the gun. When you get it you will understand you have a great reliable machine gun type weapon. The only down fall is the weight. Its a battle-ax. Which is why it has a bipod on the front of it. But it is awesome to shoot little to no recoil amd just freak'n neat.

I've still got that Norinco from the pawn shop. If I can send it back for a refund... maybe.
