That is up to the big brains in charge to decide. You could probably call Quentin Defense. They may have a couple of extra ZS lowers still in stock. Just be aware that they are a bit slow at getting back to people. You might also try ordering one from their website. If they do still have a couple in stock you may be able to order one that way. It will need to go to an FFL though. Don't take all the complaints on here the wrong way. The lowers have turned out to be very, very nice. It is just their responsiveness that has been the issue. We had the group buy together in less than 2 weeks. It has taken the better part of 4 months for them to get all the specific orders out. Admittedly they had some technical issues at that point in time. But still...

I'm quite happy with mine, despite the delays...

There's one every 18 months or so, each time has been with a different company.

BTW, Quentin said they'd ship mine out last Monday, but I haven't been charged for it yet or notified it has shipped. I need to call them back so we can get these last two shipped.

I've given up. No reply. They won't be getting permission to use our trademark in the future.

Is it just a curse that every ZS lower group buy has a fuck up of some kind? Although, these lowers did come out well.

Did anyone get a raw billet lower, and if so, are there any completed pics?

If you scroll down, you can see a "pistol" (technically the ATF considers it an "other long gun") I built using one of their 80% raw lowers. It still had machining marks on it, but I left those on when I anodized it, as I didn't want there to be any question that it was a home-build. There was also a thread in this section where people posted their completed ZS rifles.

@kyle: I don't blame you. The lowers were nice, but dragging this on for months was beyond stupid on their part. Especially when they already had the ZS logo in their machine, and all that was needed to do these was load them in their engraver and push a button.

Yeah, the lower is top notch but it seems they may have bitten off a little more than they could chew with this group buy.

Pete and Kyle: You'll be very happy with the product when you get it, but the extended wait and lack of communication is unconscionable.

BTW: I finally got all my parts together and will be posting a pic of the completed carbine when I get a little time to assemble it.

I wrote to them several months ago about getting one of their 80% lowers with the same markings and a 0000 serial number, and never heard back from them. I apologize again for all the issues with this group buy. But at least we seem to have gotten a good batch of lowers out of it. :D

yeah, where I had an issue is that when I finally did get ahold of them, they told me "Oh, we emailed you a couple weeks back, you must not have gotten the email." When any other email correspondence we had, went through no problem (Except this one apparently telling me why my order was taking so long)

Picked mine up last night, she's a beauty. I think Kyle is still waiting on his, which may be the last one.

They may, and I stress may, have one or two left in their inventory. You can contact them about it, but getting through to them sometimes takes some work. If you get in touch with them, and they have any left, they are good lowers.

They don't have any left in stock, but they can make more if they choose too since they have the machinery and the logo. They are super busy, so I would expect turn around times measured in months, not days or weeks.

OK, everyone that ordered one has their lower, as far as I know. I'm going to un-sticky this thread.

Yes he did. They were shipped out at the same time. Now I have to save my allowance to build it out!

I hear 'ya. I built the lower with an RRA kit I got for a good price along with an NJ-legal pinned M4-style stock. I've got the upper (BCM 14.5 mid w/pinned Battlecomp and 12" DD rail), BCG and charging handle. Just waiting on cash flow to buy the rest of the good stuff. Hope to have it complete and zeroed before the end of the year.

Look at the bright side: You'll probably get yours done before Kyle. He's buying diapers. 8-)

My lower's completely finished... was easier to build out than I expected!

Still waiting on my upper, though... I'm having it built by Addax Tactical. Eventually I want to learn how to build an upper, but you start talking about torque and headspace and stuff and I run away in terror... heh...

I do wish they'd hurry up, though. I know part of the problem was finding the ARMS olding front sight I wanted... guess veryone's out of stock...
