If people really want to discuss the merits of rattlecanning their firearms lets start a new thread about that. Please keep the side conversations out of this thread and focus on the group buy.

Do we have a day when we want to do this? It seems people are happy with the result and people are ready to start putting out money. Having a start and end date for people to get their orders in would probably be a good idea.

I am just waiting for approval from the big brains in charge. Once we get that, do we start and "I'm in" thread? Or do we tack it on to here. I am all set to go with my receiving FFL. Let me know when we are a go, and I'll get the next thread up if need be.

The Board owns the logo. I can't start a thread on a group buy without them saying "yes".

3 is there color options?

That's all I got for now.

1. Small pin. Standard mil-spec lower parts kits complete them.
2. The estimate we gave before will cover what we are discussing here. 25+ $150ea. 50+ $140ea.
Engraving the ZS logo in place of ours. Custom model number and serial number prefix. What ever selector markings you decide on. We just ask that the selectors are all done the same.
3. We currently offer anodizing in three colors. Standard Black, Gun Metal Gray and OD Green. All three colors are done to the mil spec for type III hard anodize.

Any other questions just ask.

I took that to mean there was no additional charge for colors. I went through the online shopping and didn't see any color options, so I couldn't verify it was free. That's just how I understood it, as additional price wasn't mentioned.

I, too, thought of the Umbrella lower. They look great. But, I'm not that into Resident Evil. I'll be keeping and eye on Umbrella Corp., though. They're gonna have barrels and other parts soon.

I'm very impressed with the prototype but what was the final decision? ZS on the left & right blank so people can personalize or ZS on both sides?

The "I'm in" thread is up. We are going to leave the right side of the mag well blank. There were enough people that wanted to have stuff added there that it was easier to leave it blank. That way you can add whatever you want without having to work around the logo, or cram something into a limited space. However, if you get something cool, you had better post a picture of it on here for the rest of us to drool over.

I still have one question that determines what happens to the right side of the rifle I'm going to order.

Can it also be engraved or does it have to be lasered on or can you do either/or? I asked this before, and if it was answered I must have missed it.

I just want a left/right side engraved ZS...

gun toting monkeyboy wrote:List out what you want and the options and we'll get an idea of how many people are going to order. If we get more than 50 the price will drop $10. Starting February 1 you will need to call Quinten Defense to pay for your order and give him the name of a local FFL to ship it to.

I am confused, we are supposed to pay them before we know what the total price will be? Tomorrow is the first...

If we can get it up to 50 units, we can probably just ask him to charge back the difference. But I am doubtful we will get anywhere close to that number. Unfortunately I can't call him today to get answers, as they are closed Monday and Tuesday. :gonk:

Yea, I need the answer to this one as well.

How long do we have to make this order?
