You Guys Are Nuts

But I think I like ya

Image

I have been posting to forums for more then 10 years and this is the first place that got bent out shape over the quality of my pictures so your reactions caught me off guard.

As you can see I'm real and a small portion of my arsenal is behind me.

If this is enough to get my Crazy Guns thread unlocked I'll be glad to reply to some of the recent comments

BRAVO.

I really had my doubts there but I am VERY glad to see you posted pictures. Even though I did not post in the old thread, my apologies.

Some great weapons you have there :)

I've kind of wondered about you so I practiced my Google-Fu and looked you up on DVD Talk, Space Rocks(?), THR, Calguns, Guns and Game...ect.

You seem cordial enough, and you apprear to have real talent, but you also seem to say 'hi everybody, look at the cool stuff I did' and then you move on (I say that because you appear to have a lot of low post counts and ex-member designations). Come'on stick around, you have the history and experiences that fit well with this site.

I haven't found where you have posted any previous prepping experience, so maybe this can be a new area to explore. It's interesting, prudent, and allows for a lot of self expresion and out of the box thinking.

In short, welcome, thanks for the redux, and thanks for your service.

I'm curious as to what type of front sight is on the double barrel shotgun the OP has aimed at us.

It looks like an H&K style sight to me, but I could be wrong.

His other pics have a clean white back ground and the gun appears suspended so I’d guess he uses a software program with a chroma keyer and media generator.

Step one – take pic of gun against solid back ground.

Step two – use chroma keyer to ‘remove’ solid back ground color.

Step three – Impose pic of the gun over solid generated background color. *like Justin Long in the Apple commericials*

It really makes the gun pop off the pic more than just taking it against a flat background.

Of course I’m probably wrong.

Now I'm interested in knowing his method. I'm still thinking chroma keyer since his guns don't have a shadow and appear suspended. The tutorial you linked to had great info though.

Nice guns also. Is that a 930 SPX or a FN SLP? Either way, how do you like it?
